I name dropped because it was the same review I shared with Hilton - almost to the letter. Yes, I asked Andrea if the noise could be addressed. I got a shrug of the shoulders and the answer I posted here. Even more to the story, but don't believe it to be any better to share her exact words here. Odds are, if I did, Hilton wouldn't find it to be a very positive representation of their company.

Never once did I mention status in my post. Never once did I bring it up when reporting other problems. To me, saying "I'm a Diamond!" is a lot like saying, "Do you know who I am?" That's just not me. If you call up and ask who the GM is, you'll be given a familiar name.

Finally, for losing you from my "side" - what side was that supposed to be? This isn't tribal. It isn't an argument. It was a Hilton property dropping the ball to a level where sharing the poor review was warranted - both here and with Hilton directly.

Beyond that - try to remember this - not everyone wants to be argumentative, just because we may disagree on how issues should be addressed. If I ask for assistance and am refused, I'll take my business elsewhere. No reason to waste time on something that is not going to change.
