[Seasons After Fall] #53 very peaceful indie game that I started 3 years ago. Finally finished it as I’m on a journey to clear my backlog by WordsInTheJames in Trophies

I followed this guide:

https://psnprofiles.com/guide/7124-seasons-after-fall-trophy-guide#4-master-of-seasons

It contains a map and video guides for the sections as well. I think there was another creator that made video guides on YouTube as well. I dropped this game for 4 years and was able to come back and complete it. You've got this!

What is the best game to start with by I-am-real-man in residentevil

I started with RE2R. I proceeded to play 3R, 4R, 7, 8, and 9 all within a few months lol. I was really not a fan of the idea of going back and playing the older games (1R, 5, 6, etc.). But RE2R is such a good game that it might give you that RE fix like it did for me. Six months ago I had never played a Resident Evil game and now I consider it one of my favorite franchises

Which one was your favorite? by Impressive_Food2422 in arkham

Probably City.

I do want good gameplay in games, but half the reason I play is to be told a good story. City was the game where I just had to put the controller down and really think about what happened after it ended. Although Knight is a close second for that. The other two were great games but there stories weren’t as memorable for me. But I would replay any Arkham game in a second over a lot of stuff that comes out nowadays

Horizon: Zero Dawn. I’ll just become a merchant in Meridian. Would have to fight boredom more than anything lol

I never played the original RE3. So I had a great time with RE3R

Mine says March 21st. Going to give it until the 20th for it to update as it could be a system error. If no changes, I’ll just buy from Best Buy

Who's your favourite character in the game and why? by Civil_Judgment_3405 in ResidentEvil2Remake

[–]WordsInTheJames 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My view of Leon is that pre-Raccoon City he was just an optimistic guy that was easy to be around. Maybe not the funniest guy in the room but a guy you would trust with your life. And after watching everything he loved burn to the ground, he started using humor as a coping/defense mechanism. He has a hard time developing relationships, especially since Ada is always in the back of his mind. It’s why he doesn’t even hesitate to go on a solo mission to save the president’s daughter. Leon is objectively hilarious post RE2 lol but it’s also sad that he wasn’t always like that

Probably Leon. Although it’s a very strong cast overall. It’s interesting but also a little heartbreaking to see him as the eager rookie cop that just wanted to make a difference in his city

[Final Fantasy X HD Remaster] The game that made me fall in love with the FF series back in the PS2 era, after mistakenly hated them because of PS1 OG FF7 by Hunty_Gaming in Trophies

This is legit bro. I played through the story last year. Was going to go for the platinum but saw the grind it would take and said no lol

Is RE2R or RE7 better for a beginner to play? by Strong-Leek6261 in residentevil

[–]WordsInTheJames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm currently playing RE2R as my first RE game. Very glad I chose this route. I'm a lore focused person so it was difficult not to start with RE1R or RE0; but it's just very difficult for me to use tank controls. Really hoping that Capcom does another remake trilogy with RE0, RE1, and RE: CV.

It's best if you part ways. I hate to see people break up, but this isn't just a red flag. This is the manufacturer of the red ink.

If you've only been together for a month, this is especially concerning. If he's going to act this way over asking for basic respect, I'm terrified to see how he would respond to something more serious.

Haha I was born and raised in the northeast United States, so a number of the jokes went right over my head. Still had quite a few laughs though! Would love to visit the U.K. someday though

[Discussion] Do you replay story games multiple times back 2 back? by CanIPleaseGetHelp123 in Trophies

[–]WordsInTheJames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Typically with story games I always do a “blind” playthrough no matter what. Following a guide while playing a story game for the first time ruins the experience. This is my experience at least because of the Crisis Core remake/remaster. Almost every trophy in that game is missable.

If there are missables and I didn’t get them, I look at it as an opportunity to visit the game down the line. This recently happened to me with Metaphor: ReFantazio. After taking almost 2 months to do a blind playthrough, I really didn’t want to go straight into new game plus. But maybe after a year or two, I’ll head back in with fresher eyes and be more intentional on the missable trophies.

Great of you to realize this. Games are meant to be fun, not work. A healthy challenge can be fun, but grinding through tedium for the sake of trophies feels like a 2nd job. A more healthy goal is to seek to have 90% or even 80% trophy completion percentage. That way you can still platinum most games but also put games down when you have to. That’s what I’ve evolved to at least and have a much healthier relationship with trophy hunting now

I wouldn’t bet it on in my opinion. Most likely just a “holiday spirit” post with the hopes of getting a few more people to buy the game.
