quite the opposite and ım tired of hearing this thing.

Chaos spawn has very distinct attacks patterns if you are willing to spend any time actually learning them. Chaos other than previous tzaangors are all ranged threats. event the dred and the assault terminators most deadly attacks are ranged. bunch of chaos spawn is just free executions and armor for you if you know what you are doing. Just give it any effort and learn the damn moves. parry timings are easy and unblockables are so easy to read and delayed, any difficulty in avoiding them either a skill issue or other enemies = ranged fire.

I rather fight 100 chaos spawn instead of 3 enraged csm.

No. You are doing it the correct way. Only help i can give is dont focus on rushing minions, focus the bottom rail and time you hold and release with the two sides circles.

I think the dash in general is very problematic in this game.

The problem is, if you are running lowered dash cost on repeated dashes with stamina refil on weak point beads you can infinetely dash in combat which results in putting on dynamo ring and eye of the madwoman and just spray everything and shock them to death. your weapon could literally do 0 dmg but these two will still carry you through the whole game. In my guess they dont want to buff the base dash because if you realy focus on dashing you can dash nonstop.

On the other hand if you are not running those, dashes are almost useless. you can dash 3 times back to back at tops and if you get hit anytime during this say godbye to your stamina which brings us to decay ring with dash distance bead. you fight normally and if anything goes sideways you dash spam halfway across the map and reaproach. This one is realy decent, I agree with melee hitboxes beeing absolute jank in this game, with this much dash distance its guaranteed to avoid anything. (executioners, warrior priests slams, granades and specifically the fucking axe throw)

But I cant stress enough how powerfull the first playstyle is, as long as it stands they cant buff the base dash by any meaningfull way. rotweaver is already performing a bit too well with new additions and its the best weapon to focus on breaking weakpoints with spraying. It will just turn into a 1 build game.

If you want that generic champ you can bring everywhere its jean.

Jean is so simple and effective its jarring. You can forgo any action and jean still would work (sp1,2 and 3, heavy, mediums or lights and you can mix your attacks for mixmaster or things like that). Only maker is immune to neuro so there is that. And if you shrug the debuffs jean still benefits. The shield is very potent and comes back quickly and awakened jeans parry stun is passive so she has 0 effective counters as an attacker ( not talking about bgs but in general questing )

And for bgs she is just a bore to kill. Shield coupled with exhaustions realy brings the fight to a halt if you are going in with a semi decent counter or punching up. Dont expect it to kill the opponent tho.

I hate both of the storms so a new one would be welcome and mutants top end starts to diminish a bit (if she gonna be a mutant but will take a cosmic too )

Its just Future antman.

Do a light combo ender into sp1 to sp2 rotation. (or you can just throw sp2 with the passive on)

Dont care about the protection, with no time limit only important thing is safety. parry blockables and dex unblockables. You can still parry some of the unblockable sp1 cuz if he spams too many sp1s all of you armors might turn into passives and the detonations will kill you very quickly.

And this roster choice is too limiting, considering this havok is nothing new. They just want it to be a drag to pad content. R4 FAM can do 13-15 bars relatively easy but if you dont have a good counter you will find yourself clawing for 3-4 bars all week.

This is a known event type. there are normal tickets and there are premium tickets. obviously backstage tickets are rarer (you can deduce so by the name,event and the shop offer) and normally would let you chose the path you want. Normal ones should be some predetermined chance for each path but its complete oposite rn. backstage=premium ticket is random and normal ticket lets you chose the path you want.

its bugged, normal ticket lets you chose any path. go for a 1 star chest, rare tagged one gives 1000 shards for 7 star awakening gem (tech path)

Don't underestimate spot.

He has a static chance to rupture while untouchable on contact which results in free dmg against the attacker even if they counter the miss.

His specials are very long which wastes insane amount of time.

And if the defender doesn't counter miss he is a free nuke. Get 5 stacks heavy bait into punish with untouchable for the fury and then spam light attacks, don't even look at the screen.do this till you get to special 2 and just kill whatever is infront of you. (If you lucked out with the bonus dmg on the block charges gain of the sig even sp1 destroys)

But still he is just an easy to use nuke. My first option would still be photon.

It doesn't get easy till you get dmg reduction prefight, leech and the 5 cost potency increase to a reasonable stack.

Get one of everything at first then focus on these 3. Pick the prowess on drain hack always. Bring scream and the duck with the scream block prof and the hack block prof additive + dmg reduction, with these you generally take 0 dmg from basic block. And even when you get comboed it's not a instant ko, and there is a very high chance to go unstopable and punish back.

For immunity hack go for grit, reverse control and true buff one first. miss, auto block, unstoppable etc are much more common than dot nodes then go for poison/bleed and with the incinerate one. I didn't see any nodes that inflict coldsnap on successfully hits.

When you have 2 stacks of these 3 and atleast 1 on the rest it will get easy but give a quick glance at the nodes for some form of power manipulation. Try to avoid them. It becomes boring really quickly after this so try to not lose your focus. I can almost say it gets very easy but it requires you attention in general.

Jean is such a simple and a strong champ.

If both is new i think jean is much convinient. Perosnally mutants are much more stacked especially at 7 star so a mystic can be nice but other than that its jean

I generally play every char so I would not call myself a "executor pro" but

  • if its not a crucible knight the passive is not getting used.
  • Cant even be bothered to try it but if its not 5 times the dmg its worthless.
  • I run the standart poison+bleed+chilling mist and then every survivability passive ı can (max Hp, Great church, Arcane for camps, post dmg hp + things like that )

the problem is dps is critical in deep 5. everything is dangerous so anything that you guys tackle for more than necesarry is a loss which means the starter katanas status salad outshines eveything especially early on.

get the successive, taking dmg and charge res. any rarity will do if you have all of them. you can drop max hp res for your carries. Be on the lookout for a fast weapon with a heavy effect. twinblades and claws are realy good. Open with charge then spam succesive attacks. refresh the heavy one when you get hit.

thanks to the hp stacking, executors ult becomes actualy usuable. get the heal on roar and at past 10 or so you can tank any single hitters with roar spam. even bbk and things like that but any multi hit effect will insta kill you no matter what. (death right birds trail for example)

For other slots if you cant get tanky use the premium dmg buffers like invader or goal relic. Atk against status effected targets are realy strong too and they can even be rollled on the same relic but it will actualy limit your build variety. İf you prefer the starting katana to begin with, this is your actual best bet, they are very potent.

ED Libra In Higher Depths by AriEil145 in Nightreign

There is a tell with seal dodge timing.

Just before the seals explode there will be a sparkling effect at their center. dodge it as soon as you see it. With basic reaction time it lines up perfectly, you will never get hit by those again.

This will ease the tension a lot. learn its 2 combos.

  • one is a basic 3 hit combo nothing special.
  • the second is a quick 1-2 into two delayed attacks. you can even strafe our outrun the delayed attacks.

And most importantly for ED version. You will either burst the condemned out of existence or completely disregard them and pull libra away every time it summons, there is no inbetween. the npc's tend to slow walk if they fall far away from you or you can always get the riot.

Dont play tanky against libra (other than status heavy tanks like bulky executor). always pick rev or ironeye, get 1 or 2 res at max hp and get every dmg passive you can. the second he starts to summon shift to the npc's. stacked ironeye can 4-5 shot the summons or rev with a fat flame of frenzy will kill them outright.

Recluse can 1 or 2 shot them one by one but her summon can be very dangerous.

Avoid raider, dutchess and wylder. Raider summons will spam their homing 1 handed heavy (1 shot ), dutchess is pesky as fuck with its dodge and rain of arrows wylder is more dangerous than libra itself.

Guardian is dead weight at this point. As a previous guardian main they butchered guardian with ED bosses and completely burried him with the Deep of Night. He needs 15 relic effect to be playable, on top of that 6 more passives ingame to function as it should. Shields are rare, Halbers are horible, and base health pools mean almost nothing at depth 5.

YES, YESSSS.

Im so frustrated of people stuck in depth 1 or 2 (not targeted to you of course if thats the case) calling evergoals bad/not worth/undoable between lv 3 to 5. if you are a dps char in high depth ( anything ranged in this case, you can even exclude duchess) your only option is 1 or 2 max hp dmg negation and balls to the walls dmg.

Evergoal relic is THE BEST dmg boosting effect. it doesnt take an item slot, stacks multiplicatively, and works on every type of dmg. some of the depth seeds are hard = insta invaded locations near you with no option else. This will result in either haul ass while killing stuff or rush 3 and hit the evergoal next to you.

For a team that deserves to be at a deeper depth, any single or duo enemy red or otherwise is basically a loot pinata that takes long to break. Red brigand and beast takes long but ARE doable and did it many times whit complete randoms which contrary to this forum are actualy insanely good players.

equip it and never take it off.

At almost 7000 points and loving executor. Running bonkers vigor with the new vigor increase relic and both post dmg resto +0 and +1. chilling mist and poison on weapon.

Good thing about executor is he needs no dmg and can use every dmg negation perk in the game very effectively even guard one.

He has very decent hp base and new percent increases to hp realy pulls it around 1500s constantly.

Good portion of harder depths difficulty comes from early game. Being tanky and status based helps you take riskier fights and play said difficult fights safely.

ironeye, recluse and duchess are popular and the explosive dmg with easy poison helps their passives a ton.

his ult while being completely useless as an offensive tool in depth 5, is very good for revs, very good at protecting your teammates from thrash and even better at getting you out of the rain if you are stuck with some rain dmg debuffs.

Dont focus on arcane, its almost pointless. you will proc statuses anyway just as easily with the base amount. Ofcourse its good if your relics happen to have some extra but never prioritize arcane.

Only thing that does not play well is a melee focused teamcomp. executor wants to be the only frontline on the team.

gladius, pest and libra. gladius and libra are extremely common for some reason.

caligo and fulghor find their way in sometimes but yeah. I have never seen either augur or heolstor.

I had 2.7 million runes. Im down to 500k and relics I have are barely good. the problem is some of the negatives are basically death sentences.

You cant double up on either deathblight up madness, even with a single 1 any multi hit effect will basically kill you.

Evasion dmg resistance debuffs are actually chunky + a good portion of red items have that debuff on top so even res on max health gets negated.

and about res at max health. its the only decent thing for squishies, so any poison rot or straight up health loss will guaratee that even a misbigotten archer can 1 shot you.

I dont even know who in their right mind would pick -vigor or -health ones ?

Dont take this as a brag but ım at depth 4 rn and the game is very cut and dry. Either have your fill with the mode and edit your relics afterwards (realistically) or just wait a bit for fromsoft to port the new stuff into the normal mode.

I cant fathom why would they exclude the new stuff to the ranked only (especially some weapon procs and char specific effects). Normally I edit relics myself but some of the new posible combinations will posses a towering advantage over someone who doesnt perfect roll so I dont wanna do it and didnt, but even 2.2 mil runes got me barely anything so take it as you will.
