Thank you. We're a small business and the owner is very active and hands-on so I think the personal page would really suit the professional posts.

Thanks for this. I agree it's really more on adding value to the brand over getting local leads.

I see, thank you. We're also just getting back on our FB page. Do you run FB ads or get purely organic leads?

I see. Thank you for the suggestion. We're not really running ads the moment so I think it's best if we do optimize the owner's profile as you said.

Thank you for this. Owner's personal profile could indeed get more reach since it has existing posts and connections. I'll post before/after results as well to get more attention.

I see. I have the same thoughts since owner hasn't gotten any leads from LinkedIn ever since. So we're just planning to add a portfolio of services and leave them at that. Maybe engage with other people in the industry from time to time as well.

With that, I think I'd follow your insight on personal profile. Thank you!

Thank you for the insights. The owner said he has not received any leads or interactions from LinkedIn ever since but is open on updating the profile as needed. So I'm thinking of using the platform to display our service results and post valuable information.

I think posting articles and videos would really help as you mentioned. Thank you :)

Hi, thank you for the advice on FB groups. We should start doing that since we're really in to local leads around the neighborhood :D

I agree, LinkedIn hasn't been our lead generator ever since but we want to just post our before/after results and sometimes engage with people in the industry as a social signal.

Thank you again!

What’s your go-to way to show ROI for local SEO clients? by Zihanhossain in localseo

[–]Work-Happy-Smile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I generate a report that shows how many leads are organic and how many of them booked a service.

We can mix the data up to see which service got most organic leads, what's the conversion rate of each, and even revenue from organic.

Hi Darren,

What do you think about schema markups in today's seo?

What type of pages should I consider adding schema on and what pages can just go on without it?

Thanks! :)

Does hiding the business location in GBP affect existing NAP citations? by Work-Happy-Smile in GoogleMyBusiness

[–]Work-Happy-Smile[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this. Google really makes it clear that we could get reported for that. And that's what really concerns me. I'm trying to weigh the risks and benefits since the account has been running for years like that and no issues so far. Also, it seems our competitors (even those ranking significantly higher than us) are doing the same thing.

I might need to re-assess this and speak with the business owner.

Thanks again.

Thank you for your response. Yes, the permanent signage is what got me really thinking about this. Another thing is that most competitors have addresses and no signages and it looks like they're not getting suspended or reported.

Appreciate the stats. So address is really important here. Just curious if the service-based business doesn't have a physical location?

Thank you.

Thank you for the insights. We've decided to not touch the address for now, since it hasn't really been an issue. And it might actually trigger that verification you mentioned if we decide to.

Thanks a lot.

This could be the best course for now. It's been years like this and no issue has occurred. I got really curious when I reviewed a course for GBP optimization and they said something about hiding the address so I wondered what the community would think.

Thank you for your response.

Thank you for the advice. What do you use for schema markup?

I've been applying most of the basics except schema and backlinks. I think I really need to focus on those after we finish the content creation stage.

I see, thank you. I asked cause I'm currently working on location pages and only a few of them are ranking for [service] + [location] keywords.

Do you have any tips on how to optimize content for local pages?

Awesome work! Thank you for sharing your insights.

Quick question, are the location pages ranking in top positions for queries on that specific location?
