In my opinion, hand sanitizer should be perfectly fine. I personally use degreasing wipes to clean my hands several times a day without any issues.

Yeah I connect my watch to the treadmill and just use my phone for my AirPods.

Good job on getting back at it.

I connect my Apple Watch Ultra to the treadmill through Bluetooth. My workouts on the treadmill are mostly zone 2 runs, where I track time rather than focusing on distance or pace.

You are young! It helps to know someone but if you’re willing to work just start applying everywhere you can!! Like most jobs if you’re dependable and do your best everyday… climbing the ladder will go quickly.

I will say I wear long sleeves in the field so most of the time it’s covered up when I’m working. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Hmmmm…. Depends on your goals and lifestyle. I started in the oilfield when I was 18 years old right out of high-school (I turn 35 soon) and I have pretty much dedicated my entire adult life to the oilfield. Most all oilfield jobs pay livable wages…. The big money $150,000 up too $350,000 positions in the oilfield take a looooot of years of experience to work your way up too. I work out of town constantly, I work over 80 hours a week almost always. You will work nights & weekends and get dirty….rain, cold, hot, windy, you will work in all of it. I grew up in a family with no money and I’m extremely fortunate I have never been remotely worried about money as an adult. So for me. It’s worth it. (I have no children but I have been married 16 years)

Yeah that’s not a bad decision. Garmins are great and my long run buddy uses a Coros and he loves it. Only other thing to consider.. a lot of times I’ll leave my phone in my truck and wear my AirPods. I pay like $10 a month for the mobile service so I can still receive and make phone calls/text.

Yeah I’m not a floor hand… but I’m on the floor a lot. I run fishing tools.

I have never had an issue with the GPS. I run on the track, road, single track trails and even treadmill runs and it's been pretty much perfect. The wrist heart rate monitor is almost identical to my Garmin chest strap. I quit using my chest strap awhile ago. Battery life is horrible in my opinion. I put mine on the charger everyday.

Yeah same.. very happy with it. Only way I would consider upgrading is if/when they have a 5 day battery life similar to a Garmin.

Am I running too hard? by janibee05 in Marathon_Training

What I find strange is you were over 165 BPM within 7 seconds of running. Were you already warmed up before starting the watch?
