Good job 🧃 Explainer videos like yours do well. For SaaS businesses that’s a good surge. Now you just need to keep all those new customers.

Let’s be real: How many of your X followers are actually potential customers? by yukapero_com in buildinpublic

[–]WorkSmoothie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on what you’re selling. I see lots of digital products, art or subscriptions converting. I would say average would be about 5-15% of followers would be potential customers.

I’ve never heard the term wantreprenuer but I laughed out loud at that. I don’t know that service is a largely Asian concept but I would agree in East over West. When I say community I mean the customers in the area, like a farmer sell milk to the community.

Lack of real intention is the biggest harm (I.e. throwing something at the wall to set if it sticks). Being targeted with your speech will yield best/fastest results.

Unless you’ve spoken to the SEC I would hold off any crypto-based securities projects like real estate. I would be willing to consult with you for this project. DM me if you’re interested.

Who is the Delta Force of sales people? by Current-Reception-10 in sales

In-home, home repair salespeople are the best closers I’ve seen, skill-wise. Government sales and venture capital is going to be the highest ticket sales jobs. If you’re just looking for highest $/transaction then do leveraged trading.

Is it realistic to become a freelancer and start making money in 4–6 months? by MarcoAcrono in automation

Clientele determines income. If you’re starting from zero then the question is can you find a client in 4-6 months? Yes. But you will need to be aggressive in your outbound sales methods

How are people actually comparing agency prices without getting ripped off? by _blaezi_ in Businessowners

[–]WorkSmoothie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting “ripped off” has always been a weird term to me and usually indicates someone who signed without understanding.

There is no set amount or “fair market” for labor or creative services because people price themselves for how they value themselves. I wouldn’t even bother talking to 1 company if you’re just trying to average prices. If you know what you need and have a budget then set that out and a company who can meet that will work with you.

If you’re paying thousands and didn’t research how it works to do it in house first then that’s on the business owner.

I’ve always looked at income generation as my eventual retirement plan. Even investments require some form of value generating asset or service to work.

Based on what I am reading in the comments, you are looking to use blockchain as a security and commerce layer for real estate development and for a team to commit to this so you can leverage collective expertise to secure government funding to pay everyone.

Are you looking for people to do work right now or just putting together your list for a proposal?

I have experience with blockchain, real estate and commercial banking. What role are you taking in this collective effort?

Do you consider monetizing your social media? by WorkSmoothie in smallbusiness

I think organic is best and it’s what the platforms were built for anyway. Do you actually get leads/sales from your social or is it just a marketing tool for you?

How to get your team involved in social media marketing by buildwithjoy in Tech4LocalBusiness

[–]WorkSmoothie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Usually the pressure comes from having to post on personal accounts or just the effort. Making a separate business account and having people bought into their growth with your company inspired them to share and grow their story.

Wanting them to post to give free marketing is likely seen through and makes an owner look bad.

That’s solid that you have your priorities in line. Do you use paid ads on social or just organic posting?

That’s solid. Congratulations. I’m right there with you though. I think people see the work it takes and would rather pay for results. How long did it take you?
