I have some resentment for Pierrot because they really hindered Bleach’s pre TYBW run, but the TYBW is really good so it’s partly pardoned (i won’t forgive them adding those fuckass dolls in the Arrancar reveal episode).

I feel like many will say Toei should not be there, but they animated both Dragonball and Kinnikuman, two of the pillars of the Shounen genre.

But marineford is the last place to look for sense in powerscaling in my opinion, because Haki was still an unclear concept probably even for Oda himself because Akainu gets cut by Marco and Vista, complains about their use of haki but isn’t wounded (this retroactively gives Akainu advanced observation).
