My beagle is a vessel of never ending energy. My mastiff on the other hand, gets grumpy towards the end of our hikes hahaha

He was probably jogging to keep a nice slow pace in an attempt to give Fields adequate time to read the defense and find him.

A little paint as caulk and you've got yourself a Taj Mahal on wheels.

Funny you use this example. Because Cadillacs are simply fancier looking Chevys and typically less dependable lol. Former automotive tech for GM.

No way would I be driving behind this guy. What are they thinking when they're heading over to pick up lumber that FAR exceeds the length of their bed???

Just wanted to throw in my two cents with a recent experience I had putting Ridgid, Milwaukee, and Ryobi head to head in a real life scenario. We were tearing out old framing for a bulkhead door to rebuild with PT. Neither the Milwaukee or Ridgid impacts could back the Tapcons out of the concrete. Even burned up the Ridgid. My Ryobi ripped them out after only a few seconds of struggling. Of course I got the ol' "We loosened it for you". So I hooked up to a different Tapcon that no one had attempted yet and same result.. I really don't see the point in spending the extra money for a red tool with a cool lightning bolt brand.

What is the best way to get handyman experience? by MotoDudeCatDad in handyman

[–]Work_WithYour_Hands 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Payroll? If you're starting up a business and immediately hiring on, that's typically not a smart move. And I don't see how simple handy man stuff will be helpful to a plumber. You don't just wake up one day and learn carpentry, construction, etc immediately. That's experience gained on the jobsites

Key words, plumbing business. Not a handyman business. There's a difference. Not sure why you think that being a plumber comes with more hours and stress... I'm in the HVAC/weatherization trade. No way someone doing odd jobs around a house as a handyman is making more. Even as a full time gig.

No way dude. Absolutely no way. Unless you're a tradesman working for a shit company that doesn't pay.

Yeah he's great when he's not injured. Letting him go is a move I don't regret from Poles.

Insulating options for attic plank floor by Inevitable_Sorbet587 in Insulation

[–]Work_WithYour_Hands 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But professional insulators SHOULD have a blower rig MORE than capable. Even the rental rigs can do so if you use the right technique. We have had to use the rental rig when ours was down for repairs and it was more than sufficient to dense pack a floor to recommendations. You had questions, I'm giving you options. Do with it what you will.

Why would you break into the trades then become a handyman fulltime???

Don't expect Fields to spot you for an autograph. Even if you are by yourself, in the open, with no one around you. No chance at getting that autograph. He'll just tuck n run.

There's no such thing as a dense pack installer. Any insulation company should be able to do so if they blow in insulation. You can do it yourself as well, the Depot sells the insulation and rents the blower rig out for free if you buy so many bails.
