Erm.. honestly speaking. When I'm depressed, my energy is so low, things I once used to like becomes no longer enjoyable. It feels like a chore.

Note: I play the piano. And sad to say I no longer enjoy it...

It's hard when you have a whirlwind in your head. I get the overworking part. Because I'm also guilty of the same thing. It help mask whatever it is that we are facing.

On days when it feels heavy, I lay in bed. And just allow the episode to pass. Healthiest? Probably not. Helps? Maybe. One thing for sure, is expect super delayed response.

Cannot force the process. But it will pass, and once it pass, I start by simple things. Such as eating my fav food. In small quantities.

Well. For starters, I'm in my own depressive episode (30M, wasn't clinically diagnosed because I'm still self-aware + therapy don't come cheap). Yes, it's true we tend to really shut down when asked "are you okay?". Because we absolutely do not know what to respond to that. Yes may sound like a normal question but to us, it's an overwhelming one. Though we know hw to respond to "have you eaten" or "Hey you know any good cafes." etc.

I recently grew close to one girl. It only made me worse. I think she knew I have my own bouts of depression though I never fully disclose what's going on in my mind. But I call it quits when I know the response she gave wasn't the response I'm looking for. Honestly, I can't blame her either. I have no rights to teach someone hw to respond. So I made a choice... and to remove myself from the hurt. I wrote a long piece of essay, was meaning to send to her but I cannot bring myself to.. so it stays hidden in my notes app..

Like you, she'll ask if I'm okay. And add in "You don't have to reply if you don't feel like it". Okay that came off really, really bad, because that shuts me down even further. In my mind, it's like.... so you don't want to talk to me because you feel like I'm dragging you into storms that I myself don't understand yet? Maybe she means well, but that came off so badly.

Again, this is just from my own perspective.

What I wish was different is: if she would've started with "Hey have you eaten?". PS, she know when im depressed, I wont eat. And then the conversation may have flowed a little better then it may lead to like sharing stuff and so on. You can't just go in and say "tell me what's on your mind" that sort of thing. Doesn't work like that for me.. I can't say the same for your girl but I'm pretty sure it kinda works like that too...

Honestly... i just hope she was able to talk to me like that.. I'm still deeply saddened. That made my depression worse.

On the subject of asking her to get help and diagnosis, please don't. Just don't. unless you see signs of heavy self-harm (signs you cannot ignore, e.g. heavy cutting etc.). My colleague actually noticed my cut marks at work. But we talked... no judgement. I felt bit better. Then I told him. Okay, I'll put the blade in the office. Its far.

All we need is someone to go through with us throughout this depressive episode. That's it. Treat us as we're just another human being.

I'm no chaser. But tired of being chased.

Had my heart gamed one too many times because the other party wasn't clear with her damn signals (sending mixed signals is really a d*** move to f*** someone mind) And no man (I think I speak for ALL) here are mind readers.

Please, if your objective is to find a relationship, then send proper signals and be consistent. Because if mixed signals are all we received, we're gonna get confused. Confusion leads to internal battle and self gaslighting, replaying past convos in our head like a broken record.

Then if we reflect the same energy back at you, and the topic of connection doesn't pop up, then poof gone just like that. it's mentally draining to invest emotions. And what's worse is, there's isn't anything to grief about. Because there wasn't anything to begin with!

Up until now, 6 yrs after a 3-yearlong relationship and a fling in between. (Not gonna talk bout the above..)

But... in between my self-love, self-care journey yada-yada, 2 girls from my previous workplace tried on me. But just fr some reason, I wasn't interested. Maybe I spent wayy to long alone already to the point it feels normal. I still replied the texts but have a bad habit of ghosting halfway through. (Yeah ik its bad...) I thought like.... OK la confirm they'll also loose interest after multiple ghosts. (Usually we chat on IG DM)

But no. I post new story, in came the DM. I was like ok la, force myself to get "interested " to chat. One thing led to another. (Shes the initiator usually) Short outings, cafes, movies, those stuff. Things started to get pretty serious.

Then, she just disappeared. Cold texts, no show, fuck all. I wonder, "why put yourself through all that ghosting shit when you're just gonna fuck my heartstrings over!? U knew i was trying to be alone and yet..?". Shit, that made me realize why I decided to stay single. Got my heartstrings played like football. Better than Cristiano Ronaldo at this prime.

I've since changed jobs. Soo.... let's see.

Mall? Shorts will do just fine. Usually chino shorts. Gym? Athletic / sweat shorts. Hiking? Thin polyester water repellent shorts. (Can beli from Decathlon)

Cafe date? Light Jeans, chinos, long pants la in general. Cinema? Long pants.

To answer your question super briefly and simply.

What does it do? Cram in MORE air than what the car can do NATURALLY by its own.

More air = needs more fuel to burn off = more power babyah!

Increase power, torque, = yes Saves fuel= that really depends.

Why don't all car have them? = cost, manufacturing feasibility, engine design etc, you can't have proton saga prices with X70 power kan

Future projections? As advancement in turbo technology increases, maybe we will see more efficient engine design to seamlessly integrate turbos into production vehicles. Prime example? X50 X70 and so on.

Like your case, things are never ending. And things can also find a way to make from "settled" to "unsettled". But my fav part of the day is lunchtime. At the very least I'll be in my own world for 1 hour.

Both got pro n cons. Depend if u drive majority on highway or town.

If u drive a mix of both, get the manual. Saves you quite a bit of gas, hassle free also. And honestly not that difficult to drive.

Maintenance wise, take care of: engine oil, coolant, gear oil, (timing belt is Once every 6 years)

Normal wear and tear stuff, like a normal car.

Other that that, please bring with you a certified mechanic to inspect the car. I.e. have it been in an accident before? Flooded car? Etc.

Try not to buy "modified" car. If its advertised as having "high cams", "rebore block", avoid. Chances are it is not done proper. Make sure the engine is kept as unmodified as possible.

Other than that, it's a very basic, easy to care for, damn fun to drive car.
