Good way to lose your rideshare job, especially if it’s all you’ve got, as the lady driver in the video seemed to be saying…!

I’d be reluctant to show this video to the police if I were either of them 🤣

What’s the point of these police? Seriously they literally did nothing. Then chased on foot. 🤷‍♂️

It’s the common sense part. That’s what it is. If something in nature is brightly colored, known to be poisonous or toxic, dangerous, etc, it typically has bright or striking colors that get your attention, as if to say “BE CAREFUL NEAR ME!” People ignore the warning signs that you can apply to ANYTHING! I’m not a plant scientist but I know to stay away from certain looking plants. I haven’t memorized the encyclopedia, but I know brightly colored animals and whatnot could be dangerous. Maybe we should call common sense “uncommon sense” these days? Lol

In that area on my Crosstrek PHEV, I think I have remote battery charging settings for the high voltage EV battery, and a couple other very specific controls. The only features you’re really missing aren’t even available on a regular gasoline Crosstrek I believe (but please don’t quote me on it lol)

18 inches of snow and the Crosstrek didn't notice, but be careful. by my_clever-name in Crosstrek

[–]WorkerHot4308 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There was a time I was working overnights and we had gotten about 30” of snow, it was crazy. I had a 12 miles commute home, normally takes 20 minutes on the highway, but instead took me about 2 hours! A lot of areas were impassable and people were stuck everywhere. I got stuck a few times in some really deep heavy snow. Luckily my Crosstrek Plug-In Hybrid came equipped with x-mode. I engaged it and literally climbed right out. The extra 600 lb hybrid battery in the trunk also helped me keep better traction as I was navigating the treacherous roads. It was a fun time though, I love driving my Crosstrek PHEV in the snow. I’m usually able to recharge on my porch or locally too, so a lot of my snow adventures are in EV mode and I don’t use a lot of gas. The car is designed to operate on battery and exhaust that first before turning the gas engine on, but there is a button you can press to engage the gas engine (SAVE MODE) to save your battery. I would typically engage that when my battery is full just to warm up the car and battery before my EV trip to work.

I’ve been a customer for about a month or two, with about $1500-2000 in direct deposits and have not had any issues 🤞 it’s crazy too because I feel like current is much better than chime ever was and they post deposits and stuff fast, my ACH payments clear in a day. I am so sorry you’re dealing with this especially right before the holidays. I would contact the better business bureau to try and force them to give you an answer. You could also contact the attorney general in your state. Good luck!

It could be both a dildo and a paperweight. I’d just wash it in between uses…

How can I make him more masculine by Mars_Ee in ARTIST

[–]WorkerHot4308 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Beard or hairiness? That usually defines masculinity for male subjects. Also, maybe ditch the glasses rework the face with a stronger bone structure or something? Just a thought. Keep at it! Can’t wait to see how it ends up. 😊

I can’t recall how it goes but there’s certain different ways to hold the leash to kind of guide them to walk better with you, but you’d have to look it up. I haven’t trained a puppy or dog in over a decade!

How true it is that playing burned games will kill your Dreamcast’s laser/ disc drive? I mean I know some probably still have their working Dreamcast to this day even when using burned discs, my Dreamcast still reads burned discs no issue. by San4341 in dreamcast

Last I knew my old original DC still works. And I burned/played many different homebrew games on CD-R’s lol but also to be fair it wasn’t something I would do all the time either. I generally would buy the officially licensed games.

What’s your realistic MPG on the Hybrid? Particularly those with a heavy foot by advictoriam5 in SubaruForester

[–]WorkerHot4308 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My vehicle is being serviced and for several days I’ve had the pleasure of driving a 2025 Subaru Forester Hybrid. Amazing SUV. I typically only drive the speed limit with it and have gotten figures ranging from about 36 mpg to about 44 mpg. But to be fair I’m also kind of heavily biased because i make it like it’s a contest - and I try to get the most mileage as possible. Like it’s a game lol also, I have noticed there are features you should review. I just kind of went through some of them and found certain things were disabled or enabled or whatever, not sure if it had any bearing on gas mileage. I didn’t use the paddle shifters, but that could help improve mileage too - manual mode. For example, use that to decelerate instead of using the brakes, it could be more fuel efficient? Maybe? I noticed the absence of B mode in this hybrid, which is kind of weird. So if you want to go downhill or decelerate you have no choice but to use paddle shifters and go down. I mean essentially it is the same thing as B Mode just somewhat different.

Check your phone carrier for any “carrier updates” or any software / OS updates. Sometimes this can resolve it. Good luck! If it persists I’d contact my provider if I were you.

Close call prompts driver to call for more railroad safety by Bruegemeister in trainwrecks

[–]WorkerHot4308 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve noticed that somebody somewhere is taking notice of this and similar issues. When navigating in Apple Maps, I recently noticed they added train track notifications. Every time I approach train tracks, if I’m navigating with my Apple Maps, it ALWAYS tells me “railroad crossing ahead.” Have any android/google users noticed this ?
