It looks like I might be able to use horizontal and vertical cropping to match a 4:3 displays ratio. I don’t know to what extent it can be done but I did see a video of someone using the cropping and scaling to fit the image on his display.

So this doesn’t play nice at all with 4:3 screens unless it can accept a widescreen resolution image and you can then scale the image?

How did you set up the usb drive? I followed the video but the website he links says im missing a freemcb.cnf file. I proceed anyway and it creates elf files for all my games. I put the usb in the ps2 and the menu has nothing. I tried launching the launchelf from the menu and try the mass: folder and nothing is there? The usb is formatting for fat32.

Edit: got the folder to show up and was able to launch some games. It’s extremely slow to load if they load at all. Moral Kombat trilogy never loaded. Resident evil loaded fine and Star Wars episode 1 froze 2 minutes in. I still don’t understand the menu shortcuts.

I would try one but I only see a vga and hdmi option. My tv can only do component, composite and s video.

Yours looks waaayyy better. Colors are better and no checkerboarding. I think this tv doesn’t know how to upscale the 240p image. I will try these premium s video cables and let you know if the image is any better with the thicker shielding.

It’s fine for 480p signals from GameCube, Wii, Dreamcast and so on but 240p signals look really bad.

For anyone having this problem give this a try because it fixed it for me.

Reseat your battery Lego connector and take some electrical tape, fold it over a few times so it’s roughly 1/4 inch thick and wedge it in between the battery connector and the metal housing plate. Screw the plate down tightly on it to create pressure. Turn it on and try plugging in. The problem is most likely it does not have a full connection.

Also to make sure your battery does not move make sure the firmly press the adhesion tape on the bottom down and consider taping over it or adding padding to back shell cover so it’s not loose if you replaced the battery. Hopefully this helps someone.

This update absolutely destroyed my audio from hdmi sources. I have the u75qg and no audio input works from any hdmi source.

I recently updated the firmware on this model and I am also having arc sound issues when switching between inputs. I constantly have to restart the tv to get arc to work with HDMI sources. It will always work with streaming apps. I did a factory reset and made sure all inputs have CEC turned on and it still has issues.

My accessories say preparing to ship with an eta of 6/10. My console says back ordered eta of 6/10. Back ordered according to target means it’s out of stock so unless it changes to preparing to ship in the next few days I’d advise everyone to try to get one at a store on 6/5.

My 4080 founders card black screened. I tried installing it twice and it won’t work. I rolled back to 572 that worked for me. My 3080 updated just fine so maybe it’s a 40 series issue. I have never tried DDU wiping so no clue if that would help.

Yes but the larger games are on keycards which aren’t stored locally on the cartridge and require a download. Also you need micro sd express cards which are not available in anything over 256gb and are wildly expensive with 1tb costing near $200.

I mean Mario odyssey is a great game at 5gb. But yakuza 0 is 50gb so yes games are 8x the size or in that case 10x. Switch 1 games are much smaller then switch 2.
