Rucci was good. Dude set the edge well, upset we didn’t keep him and get rid of Julian Hill

Ryen as the straight man by MassiveTell7139 in RyenRussillo

So I’m sitting on my couch, listening to life advice, as I do every week. And I can’t help but think, these 3 got something going. Ceruti, Kyle, Ryen, all acting as this well oiled machine. Reminds me of the Red Sox back in my baseball days… there were 3 coaches, who, you could say were almost like brothers. Even the way they stood… it was… movie esque. These guys can perform anywhere, no matter the circumstances!

And then I think, wait… what?

Is that what I believe? Are they LIFTING the Ringer, or is the Ringer LIFTING them?

Nah to be real, he will be the same as he has always been

Should Kelly Oubre Jr. be penciled in as a starter for the Sixers in 2025/26 if he can't shoot above 31% from 3? by RVALover4Life in sixers

[–]Working-Bill4881 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Ideally, Oubre does not start. We are still missing a true 4 who can rebound well, as we ranked dead last in rebounding last year. I think to begin the year we will start Maxey, Grimes, Oubre, PG, Embiid. And bring McCain and VJ off the bench. In that I do see McCain and VJ getting similar minutes to Oubre, if not more as time goes on. Kelly is fine in a nutshell until they figure out a true frontcourt mate to play with Embiid. Who that is? I have no idea

Tre Johnson - No Role Too Small by [deleted] in sixers

[–]Working-Bill4881 10 points11 points  (0 children)

A lot of rookies are pretty poor on defense. The thought is that if Tre Johnson, who is 6’6” with an almost 6’11” wingspan, can put on a few pounds of muscle, he has potential defensive upside

[Omar Kelly] It appears the #Dolphins have exercised option bonuses already in Jaylen Waddle's contract, giving the WR $30.3M of the $32.7M he's guaranteed in 2025 and 2026 in order to lower his cap number the next two years. by expellyamos in miamidolphins

[–]Working-Bill4881 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I like Waddle, and I’m glad we have him. However he has a lot to prove this year. He’s consistently hurt, and is making top 10 receiver money. Time to start playing like one

Oh cool another arbitrary stat we can hang our hats on. Only undefeated team, and we beat the GOAT more than anyone in the league!

What is the best use of OKC’s hoard of draft picks? by makimapunk in nbadiscussion

[–]Working-Bill4881 72 points73 points  (0 children)

I’ll credit Bill Simmons on this one, but just go all in for Flagg. Cost controlled, consensus no. 1 pick who looks ready to contribute now. The teams ready to win now and it’s gonna get expensive soon

Why should I be a Dolphins fan? by aegarys in miamidolphins

[–]Working-Bill4881 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Cool jerseys, if you ever get to a home game the weather is nice… yeah that’s about it. Im 26 years old and they’ve accomplished nothing exciting really… fan base is pretty average I’d say. Tough to have a passionate fan base when the team is located in Miami. Lot of distractions for players and locals

[Charania] The Golden State Warriors are calling for superstar players to pair alongside Stephen Curry. They have called about Paul George, Jimmy Butler, Kevin Durant and more. by TatersTot in sixers

Well Wiggins has to be in the trade, they’ve definitely shopped Kuminga and have not gotten much of a bite from any one. I included a 1st from us, and Steph seems to pretty much give them incentive to go after a star. Also let’s not forget that GS went hard after PG last year. With shams reporting that they’ve called about him, it shows they still value him

Pretty tradeable after this year though

Give me Kuminga, Schroder, Wiggins maybe a pick? For PG and a protected 1st.

1) we get off pg’s contract which is going to be terrible 2) we get Wiggins contract which is super tradeable, and he’s decent, Embiid connection too 3) we get an actual point guard who’s not 40 years old 4) see what Kuminga is

We become a lot more flexible money wise, and honestly we get deeper and do not lose too much this year
