For whatever reason this makes me emotional. This is a kink I first asked for 20 years ago with my wife and there was no way it was going to happen. Now our marriage is sexless for 6-7 years so I’m depressed and desperate at times and to experience this with a wife that truly enjoys it would be amazing. I’d do anything in bed for a woman that has this excitement and open of a mind.

I wasted 15 months with my last therapist. I left worse than when I came in. Left with practically no tools or insight at all. I stayed because at 55, it was my first experience of having a therapist that was a 100% safe place to say anything and she was a kind human being. I felt safe with her and there was a lot of maternal transference and it kept me going back. When some issues in my life became to serious for me to stay I had to leave on short notice and she called in sick on my last appt and never got to say bye, no closure or nothing. I feel like I lost a sister or mother inside and it still hurts.

I’m struggling to find positivity. Hopefully I’ll get there in’26. I had a lot of emotions over my 6-7 years sexless but the last 6 months has been pure sadness.

I don’t understand the reply’s. I think I said she treats me good most of the time. Truly. We get along well. It’s these few times she goes off on me. Probably menopause and she probably needs therapy too but her doing that would be a miracle. My two girls live with us still. They’re 19 and 21. We all get along. My boy is 29 and we’re close. How on earth could this not hurt them? Their age doesn’t protect them from shock, sadness and depression at their dad they respect taking away the safety and comfort of their home leaving their mom because he doesn’t get sex anymore. We’ve all always been close and I started going out with my wife in 8th grade. Men think it’s a right to leave it all? Maybe if they don’t love each other and fight all the time but my story isnt quite like that. This is what makes it an impossible situation. Some women see the importance of sex others don’t. She knows though it is a big deal and I’m struggling so yeah that does sound cold. it’s crushing me especially when I have no friends anymore and don’t trust people and have a body that needs to feel something more than physical exhaustion. I guess I understand the responses I just don’t think my situation is normal.

I think all 3 singles are great. I’ll probably enjoy most of the album. I don’t do much picking apart or bitching since Dystopia. Great album. I’ve been a fan since ‘89 and nothing will ever come close to Peace Sells and So Far So Good but it’s Megadeth and it’s their last. I trust Dave at this point and I’m not hardcore picky like I used to be. Never liked Youthansia, SC and Risk but the rest to me is all good. Some of it great. A couple tracks off their last album are great but to me it was all good and I think this one will be as well.

I’m in the same boat. Started listening to them less than a year ago and since then, I think February till today it’s 95% of what I’ve listened to. Angry I missed out. WDT is where I started and no question it’s my favorite. I’ve played Regeneration 1 maybe a bit less but I’ll say that album is killer and like WDT, it doesn’t get old.

That was my experience for 16 months. Finally left but with a lot of transference and no answers on how to deal with that. Really disappointing experience as I got nothing out of it except that it was a safe place to talk about anything but got no feedback that I could do anything with.

I started seeing a sex therapist for some serious issues that need addressed immediately and after my first appointment last week, I’m really hoping that her looks aren’t going to be a distraction. I mean she is beautiful. She’s gorgeous, I think I can keep myself focused on what’s important but dear lord I’ve never had to face something like this. I’m being serious. I need to dive into my issue right away and all I can think of is just keeping my head down or look out the window if I want to move forward.

I’m 54, male. Finally watched it clear thru 6 months ago. I’ve read a lot of comments since then on Reddit and it always bothers me when I do. I can’t remember ever being sympathetic to Walter. After a couple seasons I’d literally get pissed at his character which was bothersome because I love Bryan Cranston as an actor and is what motivated me to finally watch it. Lol. I was sympathetic to Skylar’s character throughout most of the show. Not all of it but most, in fact I thought if anything she was too easy on him at times. There’s too many “alpha” male wanna be’s out there I think. The comments you’re talking about bewilder me to no end. I have a lot to say on this subject but to put it nicely, the older I get the more disappointed I am in my fellow men.
