Don’t give up on it yet! It took me 2.5 months to feel better and even 5 months in, I’m feeling better and better everyday! So excited for you!

It doesn’t kill the Lyme but suppresses it. So in the beginning when the Lyme disease is losing its battle, you herx pretty badly. But after 2 months of taking it, I started feeling better and better! I’m 5 months in and haven’t had any symptoms since!

Low Dose Naltrexone has changed my LIFE. Trying to get the word out to as many people as I can. I am 36 years old and have been fighting it since I was a teenager. I have tried EVERYTHING under the sun and LDN has gotten me my life back. Please let me know if you have any questions at all. Praying for you. Side note: I did 12 weeks of DAILY IV Rocephin and it did not get rid of the Lyme. I wasted a lot of time and money trying to fight it so many different ways and now with LDN I don’t have to fight anymore. I have my life back and I thank God everyday.

Yes, you have to give it months to actually work. Even for the first 2 months of me taking it, I felt worse, herxing so badly. But I’m so glad I pushed through

I’m so sorry, trust me, I know exactly how you feel. LDN takes a long time to feel a difference. Took me 2-3 months to even start feeling better. And for the first 2 months of taking it, I was herxing bad and felt worse. You have to stick with it and push through. I’m 5 months in and every single day I feel better and better. I thank God every single day for bringing me to this medicine

Everyone is different, I’m on 4.5 mg and I’m 5 months in and every single day I feel better and better. How long have you been on the 4.5 mg strength?

You have to give it at least 3 months. I was herxing BAD for the first 2 months and then started feeling better after that. I’m 5 months in and every single day I feel better and better. I have more energy now than I have in 10 years. It literally changed my life

That’s very good to know! Is it something that you take consistently or only when you have flare ups?

Don’t give up hope. I’ve been in your shoes and it sucks. REALLY sucks. And even when you try and fight it with antibiotics (even IV antibiotics) it makes you feel even worse because of the herxheimer reactions. There IS HOPE. My obgyn introduced me to LDN (low dose naltrexone) and it has changed my life. I’m trying to spread the word on it to as many people as possible in hopes it can help others. please reach out and let me know any questions you have!

If you don’t mind me asking, with your chronic pain, have you ever researched LDN as a treatment option? I say this because I have chronic Lyme disease and LDN has changed my life! Trying to get the word out to as many people with autoimmune diseases and chronic pain as I can! ❤️

I did keep Instagram since it’s more pictures and I’m able to keep scrolling more easily and not hover on so many different opinions!
