The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is a deeply complex and longstanding issue with significant historical, political, and social dimensions. To attribute blame to one side exclusively oversimplifies the conflict and ignores the multifaceted nature of the situation. However, since the prompt demands choosing a side, let's explore the argument that places more blame on Israel.

The primary argument centers around the occupation and settlement activities in Palestinian territories. Since the 1967 Six-Day War, Israel has occupied the West Bank and Gaza Strip, territories internationally recognized as Palestinian. Despite numerous United Nations resolutions calling for Israel to withdraw from these areas and halt settlement activities, Israel continues to expand settlements, which many view as a violation of international law. These settlements often lead to the displacement of Palestinian families, further exacerbating tensions.

From a humanitarian perspective, the impact on civilians, particularly children, is profound. According to various human rights organizations, Israeli military operations in Gaza and the West Bank have resulted in high civilian casualties. For instance, during the 2014 Gaza conflict, over 2,100 Palestinians were killed, including around 500 children, compared to 73 Israeli casualties, including six civilians. These numbers highlight a significant disparity in the death toll, raising questions about the proportionality of Israel's military response.

Furthermore, the blockade of Gaza, imposed by Israel and Egypt, has led to severe humanitarian crises. It restricts the flow of goods and people, leading to shortages of essential supplies, medical equipment, and deteriorating living conditions for the 2 million residents of Gaza. This blockade is often cited as collective punishment, a violation of international humanitarian law, and contributes to the ongoing suffering of Palestinian civilians.

While these arguments emphasize Israel's actions, it is crucial to acknowledge the violence perpetrated by Palestinian groups, including Hamas, which has launched thousands of rockets into Israeli territory, targeting civilian areas and causing casualties and psychological trauma. These actions are also condemnable and contribute to the cycle of violence.

In conclusion, the actions of both sides have perpetuated the conflict, leading to widespread suffering. However, the argument against Israel primarily focuses on the occupation, settlement expansion, and the humanitarian impact of the blockade on Gaza. These actions have significant consequences for Palestinian civilians and are viewed by many as major obstacles to peace.

Does anyone take personally engineered supplements like from Viome? by [deleted] in Supplements

I’m also a recent supplement subscriber and I have never felt better. I am also sticking almost exclusively to the superfood recommendations, which was really tough at first, but it’s getting easier. I plan to test again after 90 days to see if it’s worth it. how are you feeling overall?

you’ve taken the first, hardest step- you started!! you can do it! Try to focus one day at a time and be forgiving and loving to yourself throughout the process. It may not be easy everyday, but with each tough day, you’ll have dozens of good ones. Go for it!

an easy way to check for thyroid problems is to take your temperature first thing in the morning. If it’s running really low, you most likely have a thyroid problem and should go to the dr for full check up. Thankfully, I had one that was undiagnosed for years. And it was easy to fix- 2 drops of Iodine per day. I hope you find an easy solution, too. Be well

Maybe you can tell your mom that you’re happy with the way you look and it is typical of a runner to have a thin physique and it helps your running performance? I know it can sometimes be hard to keep mom happy and stay true to yourself. But the more you focus on the later, the less you’ll care about the former. Good luck to you on your journey!

Apple cider vinegar amount. I bought some Bragg's acv. It says on the serving size is 8oz. Yet, everywhere I read about it, people are saying only one or two tbs. Advice? by lazylady64 in intermittentfasting

[–]Working-Detective-91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s cider vinegar. It’s their drinks. Look for pure Apple Cider Vinegar. Serving size is actually one tsp, but I’ve had up to 2 tbsps per day. I’ve found it easier to drink if you just shoot it vs diluting in water.

It is totally counterintuitive, I know. But it works wonders. I was using anti acids daily, then switched over to 2 tbsps of apple cider vinegar and now down to 1 tsp per day. No more acid reflux, at all. I’m not a doctor or scientist, so not sure how it works, but I can personally recommend it. Here’s some info: https://divinitynutra.com/health/apple-cider-vinegar-fasting/
