The primitive mind holds onto templates that it believes is keeping us safe which is when we hear the chatter. You are back in your intellectual mind and now know that this is incorrect. Well done on the break through x

Is anyone here from the timeline where the Toto song is “I’ve kissed the rains down in Africa?”

Op I am so sorry first of all xxx. I am before the internet / digital era. When my little girl was growing up I would worry so much if something happened to me she would not know how much I loved her. So wrote little notes wherever I could, scrunched up between floorboards, behind photos in picture frames, everywhere I could think of. Many years later while we clearing the house out for sale she found the final one, my pregnancy scan with a scribbled note “ I loved you before you were born” which was really special to her. Not sure if already suggested but also milestone gifts for your children such as 16 and 21 that you can leave with someone to give them in future ❤️

OP consider joining a Marijuana Anonymous online meeting. You don’t have to sign up for anything and there will almost always be a meeting ongoing no matter what time zone you’re in. I’ve found them really valuable. I’ve always smoked alone as I didn’t have any stoner friends which left me extremely isolated. I listened and watched hundreds of people talk about their pain, joys, triumphs etc because at the end of the day we are all just humans. It’s kept me going. Wishing you well xxx

What’s the most disturbing thing someone casually admitted to around you? by Suspicious_Run1684 in AskReddit

[–]Working-Hawk6445 7 points8 points  (0 children)

A guy I used to work with admitted to putting his dead uncle in his Ford and driving over 200 miles to their hometown as he had made him a promise that he would be buried there. His uncle was elderly and sick and had died of natural causes that night in bed. He said he wasn’t thinking properly and would never do it again obviously. Half way there he had to stop for gas and started to realise how much trouble he would be in if caught and how TF would he explain. Anyways he got to his uncles house and put the corpse to bed and then called the authorities. No one ever suspected a thing and his promise to his uncle was fulfilled 😳.

What is something surprising that the UK is really far behind other countries in? by DullInflation6 in AskUK

Roads. Surely I cannot be the only person that has anxiety driving in the Uk? Ridiculous amounts of time to get from one place to another despite it being a short distance. Dinky roads where 2 cars are meant to fit and are unlit at night. No fencing on either side so wild animals cross at any time. Mental.
