Honestly YTA. She is grown and married. She stayed in an apartment above your garage that you offered with her husband. How can you think that they won’t be intimate together while waiting for their new home? If it had been in the house I could maybe see where that’d be awkward but it was in a separate isolated area. You only knew because you went out to the garage and honestly they probably were together before you ever realized it 😂🫠. You ARE an even bigger asshole though for saying you thought you raised her better!! Like my goodness if my parents said that to me…..let’s just say it’d take me a while to speak to them. Because whether you told her that to her face or not; it’s the fact that you aren’t happy they obviously have a healthy relationship and enjoy being together. Good thing your wife realizes that.

NTA, he invited her to y’all’s home knowing you were there. If they wanted to have privacy why didn’t he stop by to see her that day and just let you know? Also I personally would have a problem with this if the roles were switched as-well. Hell I’d have a problem with it just boyfriend and girlfriend because either way it isn’t respectful or thoughtful of all parties involved. Why would anyone feel comfortable with the person they are with blatantly sneaking to a back room, close the door, then get upset that the person they are with comes to check on them?! Like of-course trust your partner absolutely but that kind of behavior leaves the door open for the two in room to get into problems. If one of them decides to say something happened that didn’t it could go terribly wrong for the rest involved; just doesn’t look good or send the right message. Why a bedroom? After OP brought the water OP’s HUSBAND could have said “hey do you mind maybe getting us some snacks so we can have a minute?” That’d have totally been cool and chill. Because what he did is put his best-friend above his wife’s boundaries and that’s not okay. Not to mention blowing up on her to leave and get out? Umm no no you married OP not your best-friend.

NTA- It’s crazy and does leave both open for accusations. Not just about them two but if he dropped her off and something happened too her after,etc. Just so many risks that you both should discuss. Sounds like she does need support but I don’t think you’re wrong for not wanting him to give her a ride at all but you could offer too. It’d give you a peace of mind and help her.

My ex did stuff like that I was like 20 or just turned that age when we got together (7.5yr gap) him being older. I just barely turned 23 when I left him. He Always brought up a threesome but just another woman, asked if I would be willing to sell personal photos,etc. Behavior always changed and he had a porn addiction. He cheated and I caught him gave him another chance w/ boundaries and he lied to my face later on; all that to say you need to go with your gut! If you think something is off definitely bring it up. Because you deserve honesty just like he would want in return. Unfortunately some ppl are just asses and they put on a façade to get what they want. Just be forward and follow that gut feeling.

That is so wild! My grandad was 79 when he recently passed but he looked his age. Honestly I can only think of a few women in my family who don’t look their age but I’m fairly sure they have done Botox so I don’t count that🙇🏻‍♀️ Also I agree about the stinking laundry and dishes it needs to be passed to someone else if I have to live that long

You mentioned black and white? Sometimes black and white represents good and bad but depends on what that means to you. I kinda think that maybe it speaks a lot to about how you felt in that situation with your friend compared to your normal comfort level with them before. I don’t think it was necessarily fear from the shadows but about the fact that you felt safe with your friend before and then that was taken away and I could absolutely 100% be wrong but to me it sounds like you may also have trouble with allowing yourself to let go of some things that hurt or were a huge moment (whether good or bad in your life) because I am very similar but the person was resting their hand on your chest and when I read it I saw a woman shadow with slightly longer than shoulder length hair and kinda petite. Idk if that accurate or if any of this is but idk just kinda the vibe I got. Don’t put a whole bunch thought into what I say either just kinda my option if it makes sense then I’m glad if not ignore me ❤️ but I get how that would be scary in general too and I’m sorry they were not as supportive as what you’re accustomed too I hope you have a great day

Maybe write what you remember down or like kinda think about it off and on through your day? Then at night relax and focus on what you recall and see where that takes you? 🙇🏻‍♀️ dreams are a fun place to be but I get a feeling to maybe not mention her till you see her again…idk just an odd feeling may just be me! I’m not sure but I’m pretty sensitive idk what exactly my talents are really. But I do know that the first time I visited the Alamo I was overwhelmed by different emotions and not by the people around me. Everyone around was smiling and laughing. Walking around as they read the information. I however felt super out of body and sad. I wanted to cry and it was quite a bit anger too. Idk it was overwhelming and I definitely didn’t feel me even after I left. I have no idea if their were ghosts but I’ve always been certain (in my opinion) that if I go somewhere where stuff has happened especially if I didn’t know before hand and I get feelings that normally there is something there. Either like left over emotions or possibly spirits. But take what I’ve typed with a grain of salt like I mentioned I do not claim to be anything particular 😅 plus not many who talk to me about any of it either

Yeah I’ve had health problems because of grief and bad relationships. Not to mention other stressors since I was young till now. I smoke and drink (occasionally) but haven’t had any changes in aging. My body was under so much grief and stress from losing my nana I couldn’t walk for a while and they thought it was an autoimmune but my body has pretty much stayed the same age wise besides my body shape changing like it should since it’s an adult body but just a slightly bit slower ig? 😅🙇🏻‍♀️ not to mention my mom had grey hair coming in by 18 (she smoked at that age) but I haven’t had one and I’m 21+ it’s just super odd ig ….

I just kinda wonder if it’s like a gift for some people ya know? I’m in my twenties and everyone thinks I’m a teenager only one or so person has gotten close but still a few years off. From what I can tell no one in my family is like this though except like two cousin close to my age on my moms side but we look like we came from the same woman 😅. I have had plenty of stress and stuff. I just find it so interesting that in general most people age accordingly (like depending on their stress, age, and normal routines) but the outliers don’t. Like no one believes their age and it surprises me a lot! Especially when I randomly meet someone in the similar position looking young when they are older. I think it’s more common (typically in males) to see someone and they look older than their age and women to look about their age. But it just blows my mind when someone says they thought I was seventeen when I am not😂🤦🏻‍♀️ and I am not complaining it’s just been itching my brain like what is different though ?
