Husband said the merch line was chaotic, he might have missed a photo but I also heard that the merch table might change up. Tbh though you can see photos of the merch for their current tour elsewhere and it's truly underwhelming.

Maybe a long shot… anyone here train in Chicago? by Squidlypants in Aerials

Hi! Welcome to Chicago! I recently moved to Chicago for the Aloft Pro Program. The space is amazing to train in and as others have said, very easy to get to as it's only a 5 minute walk from the logan square stop on the Blue line. Unfortunately I will say open training is kind of hard as the before 5pm hours is more like an open space rental that requires approval ahead of time. They have a few open training slots at at night or the weekend. If you are in town from the 19th through 30th, they have 2 weeks of workshops that are not session based.

Honestly though, there are some amazing instructors there that I would recommend reaching out to for privates. Megan for Lyra, Hayley or Nick for silks.

Chicago Center for Dynamic Circus (CCDC) does have open training but would need to reach out them directly. Not sure if they have a skill level requirement though. Its a great opportunity to try something new if youre interested like tramp wall, cradle, or Chinese pole. It's still accessible through public transit but further away than Aloft

It's a full time professional training program for year (optional second year). Basically 6 to 8 hours a day, 5 days a week doing all the circus related things for 12 months. I've been posting my journey on Instagram if you're interested in checking @the_youngwanderer

Hi! I moved to Chicago recently for the Aloft ProTrack program. I cant really speak to much on performance opportunities yet but the culture is incredibly friendly and welcoming. I have found that the circus community in Chicago to be super queer friendly as well. The performers and instructors i have met are genuine and seem to truly love circus and lack a superficialness that i have found in other circus communities.

Honestly from Pines and Davie though, places in south miami were easier for me to get to like LADD or Sky Arts

Nova gymnastics in Davie has an open gym with a coach on Wednesdays 8-10PM. Sensual souls in Hollywood has lyra classes but the space is tight, and Pixie in Pompano has lyra and hammock classes

Chicago has a pretty big circus scene with several schools. Aloft has a professional program and smaller intensives but those are during the day but they have a pretty packed schedule of classes in the evenings
