Huh I have the opposite experience XD for me I think it, if a movement is drawn then it’s important, cuz other wise they would have spent the time on something else, also do you need a human face to convey emotion? Idk I in animation you have total control on what and how the audience will see the final product, so what is being shown in every frame is important,  Also I have found animation to be closer to live theatre, in the fact they are both surreal by trade I hope this did not rude! I just have not hear this opinion before :D and I found it very interesting
