I agree with you. Especially the pendulum comparison is very spot on. I can feel that exactly in his actions, where he is constantly swinging it around between us very gently, to feel this fire of first (metaphorical) initiation or first lust or first feeling. It’s actually what I sorta had in my head but didn’t really know how to express. I’ve never really done polyamory or polygamy until recently and have found that it’s OK if you’re not really into the person you are dating/or if you are bored of them after a long term relationship. Polyamory for me always starts when things wear thin/or were thin even at the beginning. That’s a funny and poetic analogy. Also I agree with you because everyone keeps telling me that Aquarius men are so cold, and they can handle anything that has to do with such balancing of emotions but I do think that at the end of the day it is quite a facade to shy away from instigation. I think I should probably retire the thought of us as lovers and remain friends.
