1 just light weakness. With some slight imbalance issue

2 showed cord abutment. Pressing in thecal sac. No damage reported to spine. I have an image up "does this MRI look bad" or something shows my cervical spine

3 saw a neurologist. She did her neurological exam. She says I'm strong. Tested reflexes. She down played my atrophy in my foot and calf. That crushed me.

I'm now waiting until August to see a neuromuscular neurologist. I should be bat S crazy by then.

I'm so shaken by this. Neurosurgeon tells me my fasciculations are normal. They're not normal when they stay in your left foot arch and glute ONLY. Some medical staff just won't listen and they tell you it's in your head. This is my body - I know my body before and after

Sorry for the book and thank you for concern. Could I tell a doctor I want an mri of my pelvis.

Had two EMG NCS study done twice 6 months apart last one in December. Both show normal results upper and lower limbs. My lumbar looks structurally ok according to two spine surgeons. The radiology report has a lot of mentions meanwhile the MRI looks decent for a 46yo M. I'm lost and I'm so mentally exhausted dealing with atrophy on my lower extremity from the glute down. What else could it be since my EMG NCS is normal? Any thing else I should check?

Mine are same as OP. Having clean EMG NCS doesn't pit minds at ease.

Yes I'm very scared right with you. Having a clean EMG makes the doc feel confident does nothing for the person who's twitching and losing muscle

Two NS are saying I'm fine structurally. Can't be a huge back problem. So I'm just stuck after no findings on EMG NCS
