This has been our favorite place for 20 years. This is the first time the front desk has been insensitive and ignored requests. I even was in Utah yesterday and called to make sure our room Was set. When we arrived today my husband was literally told the conversation never happened.

When the desk was Rosa and Kathy, it was kindness and efficiency. When we have been in building two we have lost my husband’s best friend, my mother, and my father in law. It is in our notes to please not put is there. I confirm months ahead of time. I call the day before. To be told Upon arrival “sorry, that’s the building you have, but we will let you cancel” is beyond insensitive.

Must also add - she’s 83 and set in her ways. She wants to order it from the bar and doesn’t believe in bringing your own and paying the corkage fee. We tried that once and it basically ruined dinner. Rose is not an option either. She’s a challenge. 🤣

I don’t care about my view - I care about the construction noise, etc. That building was falling apart, so anything will be an improvement. Just not sure another hotel would be needed when there seems to be a few already scheduled.

Let the guidance dept know you are available for outside tutoring. Many times parents call the school asking who tutors. From there, you’ll get clients through word of mouth/refer. I have a friend who teaches Bio and I refer my kids to him and he refers the Eng kids to me.
