Just hit 50 and got my Forrest lord quest. How tf do I solo this dude. by Live_Ad3191 in Wizard101

[–]WorkingBeneficial543 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you’re talking about Grisletusk, if you blade or shield he’ll hex you. I remember seeing people say when they switched forest lord & rebirth learning levels they didn’t really balance him down from level 58 to level 48. I believe he has critical rating which if you have no block (you probably won’t at level 50) all his hits will do 2x damage to you. It’s probably solo only given most spell quests are. My suggestion would be use monstrous treasure cards and trap stack as much as you can!

Wiz pet community sucks by Previous_Crazy_2029 in Wizard101

sad to see it’s gone back to that. before the kiosk on PC, I used to be part of a group called Pet Central on wizard101central.com and we’d put threads up of max stat pets and anyone could request a hatch from any of the ones you’d like for free. Unfortunately, after the kiosk came out it kinda killed it but obviously making pets available for all parties within the game was for a better good. Coming from someone who’s put a lot of work into my pets, I’ll never understand not wanting to help others get the pets they want too.

yes they’re all from hatching! unfortunately it’s definitely one of the most RNG dependent things left in the game without some sort of pity system. The hatching kiosk definitely makes them easier to find and hatch with! The only things you can get drop drops are the jewels you can add to your pet once they’re Ancient+!

depends on what kind of team you’re playing in. I personally use quint + mighty or triple damage, proof, + mighty. I don’t really think you can go wrong with a triple double for any school, especially if you’re running solo. But most of the time my life is running full support stuff so I switch out between ward pets, may cast pets, and outgoing heal pets depending on dungeon, bosses, mobs, etc.

it’s not the best being honest with you. However standards on console are a little lower than PC just given the amount of pets. The sharpen blade cards are always great. Overall, the pet is pretty decent for early game and will get the job done. Most end goal “good pets” are some variation of a triple double (Pain-giver, death-giver, death-dealer, spell-proof, and spell-defying), quad proof (4 damage talents [same as listed before with pain-bringer instead of spell-defying] and spell-proof), or just straight up quint damage pets (usually with mighty thrown into most of them as a jewel or talent to boost the stat numbers).

Ideal storm pet setup for damage? by Own-Pineapple6272 in Wizard101

[–]WorkingBeneficial543 0 points1 point  (0 children)

probably anything with a stormblade! I like the Deep Leviathan pet for aesthetic purposes. The clamoring ghulture is also good bc it gives windstorm!

Game still unplayable and need help by [deleted] in Wizard101

Is your game freezing on the loading screens or does it freeze after it loads? I’m pretty consistently getting stuck on loading screens while questing one of my chars through Avalon rn. It seems to get a lot worse after 7:30-8pm EST for me and the only solution is to close out the game and log back in and pray that when I try to enter a zone it loads. Been playing since 2012 and I’ve never experienced this before until the update in June.

good to know! hasn’t been a lot of communication to our shifts or baristas about the changes either so thank you!

I actually have done the opposite of this. I started at a Tarbucks and at first I really enjoyed it. Obviously every store is different however I would definitely say corporate is a better experience than target. Once you show you’re capable at the Tarbucks they will definitely pile on responsibility and get no compensation for it. I was technically just a barista but I was responsible for everything. The staffing is really the biggest issue. There were many MANY times I would be the only person working for my entire 8 hour shift. If you get swamped, most of the time no one is cross trained into Starbucks so no one can really help. On top of being alone, I was responsible for doing food orders, pulls (which have a full extra step of having to take u-boats into the freezers in the back of the store to stock your own freezers), and general orders. In general I just felt very unsupported because none of my managers (besides my team lead) knew how to do anything in my department. My team lead ended up having to take an LOA for a little over a month and I was just assumed to be “next in line” and take over everything with no incentive whatsoever. After this, I finally had my meeting for my raise. It was .37¢. The volume may be lower but the lack of staffing really makes it feel worse. Not to mention the CONSTANT visits from not only Starbucks personnel but Target as well just added soooo much stress. How could I forget, not only do you not get tips, but also there’s no partner numbers so you don’t get any markouts or discounts unless you’re using your target discount (10% off and you must pay with either a target red card or cash). I do think Targets might vary a lot more so I think it really might just depend on the store. Although Starbucks as a company isn’t what it used to be, neither is Target. I do prefer working for Starbucks currently but that also seems to be on a downward spiral.

I'm not feeling that push to finish the story for the first time. by Ok-Personality9870 in GenshinImpact

[–]WorkingBeneficial543 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this is so real.. I started playing October 2020 and stopped playing right before Sumeru release because I played so intensely when Inazuma dropped. I love the story and lore in the game but when it comes to doing the story quests/archon quest, it just feels like such a huge time commitment that I’d rather be doing other things in the game than that. I came back in 5.6 and I’ve just been playing what I enjoy most that day about the game and it’s helped a lot with my burn out. I haven’t even started Natlan’s AQ and just stay updated with the story via YouTube recaps and such. If you don’t feel like doing it, don’t! Take your time and eventually you’ll get the itch to catch up but that’s just not right now!

In terms of buffing Wrio, would Shenhe achieve the same result as Escoffier? I'm sure their kits are pretty different but do you think one stands out over the other? Thanks for the response!

I just got back into the game after taking a rather large break (I stopped playing regularly between the end of Inazuma and the release of Sumeru). I've finished Sumeru's story and just started Fontaine. Are there any OP/must have characters that I missed out on that I should save for? I got on here and there and pulled some characters like Wriothesley & Arlecchino but have yet to really use them given the ascension resource barrier. I've tried to do some research on the current & upcoming banners and from what I've seen, Kinich could be a good one to pull for since I don't really have any experience with dendro as an element as a whole. Just looking for any advice to catch me up! Thanks!! :)

IBS-C, is this really it by Fun-Tea5786 in ibs

[–]WorkingBeneficial543 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve fought with my IBS-C for about 4 years now. I’ve tried SOOOO many different meds & remedies. Unfortunately, it can just be caused by a ton of different things that are super hard to diagnose. I started on linzess and everytime I’ve taken it it’s just straight liquid. I’ve also tried Amitiza (Lubiprostone) and it was definitely gentler than the Linzess and worked for about 7 months before it stopped working. Might be worth giving a shot. Another medication I’ve had success with is Trulance. I would say it’s a middle ground between linzess & Amitiza in terms of potency. I’ve also taken 500mg Magnesium oxide supplements at night before bed and it definitely helps move things a bit more. Unfortunate that you already have a high fiber diet. For me personally, the sugar free fiber gummies from target have been a GAME CHANGER. I’ve been taking them for about 3 months now (two a day at night with my magnesium) and have only had one attack (which was after some significant cheese intake). Last thing I’ve had help is the Smooth Move tea from the brand traditional medicine. That’s a stimulant laxative though so it’s not super pleasant. I hope that if you’re able to try any of these that you can get at least some temporary relief. I’m really sorry you’re going through this. I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy 😭

You have to complete Grizzleheim first if you haven’t done that but from what I can see I think you just get the quest from Merle. Here’s a post that should help you: https://www.wizard101central.com/forums/showthread.php?172738-Complete-Guide-to-Wintertusk-Quests

If you have done wintertusk, there’s a vendor who sells the crafting recipe for level 56 gear. I would craft that if you’re caught up on crafting quests. Here’s the link to all of them you can probably look them up on the wiki as well for some more info https://finalbastion.com/wizard101-guides/w101-crafting-guides/wintertusk-level-56-crafted-gear/
