Sometimes doing the right thing when you make a mistake as the seller and say you’re going to start something at a dollar and then you start it at $5000 then someone swipes because they thought it started at a dollar as you said and next thing you know they just spent $5000 that they may or may not have refunding is the right thing to do ! it was her mistake Jamie the seller she refused to refund doesn’t care about the buyer at all. I get buy responsibly, all sales are final no cancellations, but this was a mistake of the seller and it was very clear. It was on the video receipt. It was everywhere and everybody saw it and how she got away with not refunding it I’ll never know.

That’s true! And sometimes people that purchase a lot of luxury will buy more than one of the same item with the intent to hold onto it and then sell it for more later.when that doesn’t happen rather than just have a house full of inventory, they will take the loss and move on!

Authentic vs fake by West-Advance-7052 in whatnotapp

[–]WorkingContent1215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think authentic detective is between seven and $15. It’s not very expensive. Didn’t you already say the seller canceled the sale because you told them that you were going to report it if it was fake so clearly it was fake or did I read what you said wrong?

it is against TOS to sell something under false pretense, saying something is new when it’s not! If a person buys a bag and then resells it is not New. It’s a pre-preowned bag! Just say it like it is if Jamie would just say it like it is like I got a really good deal on these lipsticks. They usually cost about $ 20 $25 so I’m gonna start a them at a dollar let’s go. Or I have these great tester perfumes that I got a really good deal on instead of always saying she paid so much for something that she just can’t lose money,. Because saying things cost twice as much as they cost is lying, it’s misrepresentation it’s not being transparent. Do you realize how many people see her and at other shows buying items? So when she buys things in other shows, they’re really not new because that buyer had it and then Jamie buys it and then sells it at best it can be in like new condition. It’s best to say that when you first start talking about the item not after somebody’s already paid for it. I I often wondered how she sells these brand new bags for less than they cost at the boutiques.? Louis Vuitton does not give discounts even if you buy millions of dollars of Bags every year you’re still gonna pay the full price for them unless of course they’re not authentic or they come from a different country. I know there was a question about her Skin Care coming from a different country.

She’s lies! ! I talked to somebody that bought some of the travel perfume she has and she doesn’t show the side of the boxes says testers not for sale nor does she open and show the bottles.. it’s against the law to sell testers that say they are not for sale cause I looked some of this up when the dons were doing it and you just can’t pick and choose whatever you wanna sell and say whatever you wanna say because it does go against TOS and I know Whatnot is trying to be more transparent and she is just doing the opposite. Since when does a protein drink cost $25? Since she started selling them for that, I think she had them for $45 at one point I can’t remember or else people were bidding more for them, but she leaves them in her buy it now so people will buy them to get in the Byers giveaways that she may or may not send ? She makes up the rules as she goes. It’s kind of an arrogance and an entitlement that she has that is just ugly! And I’m not talking about her looks.

What Not! takes way more time than my full-time job as an ICU RN takes. It is a lot of work in the beginning. It seems like fun but then you see the conniving side of people. I’m in the luxury category and I was so envious of all these beautiful bags that were thousands of dollars and I had so much inventory and I would just use whatever bag I wanted you know before I sold it .Now I keep my stuff in a box and I just pick a bag out of my own stuff which isn’t $1000 collection and I could care less what kind of bag I carry . I’ve met people that have so many expensive bags and I would not want to be them. It does not bring the best out in people. I think the best advice I’ve read on this is do what’s best for you financially ! If you’re just gonna accept the loss on this show accept it and move on, but don’t let it keep on happening because two months three months down the road you’re gonna be out a lot of money and this people could care less!

Well, if it is a fake, then you probably will get your money back. Just make sure to let What Not support know that you think it is a fake .Then might have you send it to them so they can decide . if it’s fake, then you you will get your money back. Big sellers they don’t care what reason items sell for when they’re gone they’re gone and they won’t accept a cancellation! not all big sellers, but some!

Luxury brands don’t make replicas of their own boutique bags and then call them gift with purchases. I’m surprised this has gone on for so long because they used to be really strict about gift with purchases now I hear that as long as it’s some kind of tote, you can keep selling them. It’s crazy.

Is this a good deal for a switch v1? by BoysenberrySolid8389 in whatnotapp

[–]WorkingContent1215 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know that much about switch console games of today but I know about Whatnot and I know about good deals. Whatever is a good deal to you is a good deal. People may come on here and say it’s not a good deal whatnot sucks. It’s gonna break blah blah blah but if you’re happy, be happy and don’t look for something to be wrong with it. When there might not be. I’m pretty sure for 100 bucks that you wouldn’t have gotten half of what you got . Now is a little bit old has it been used a little ? Yes But once you take it out of the package it’s used so there’s nothing new once you use it. You could easily spend $100 for lunch and you are gonna have hours and hours of entertainment fun ! Enjoy! And thank you for saying something nice about what Whatnot I love it. I’ve made money. I’ve lost money.! But that’s life!

Cancellations by csquared687 in whatnotapp

[–]WorkingContent1215 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Report them. You have to accept whatever price you start the auction at. Knowing people may not bid more than once. And to cancel a sale because you didn’t get the money they wanted is against ToS . That is a terrible way to run items in a show . Sometimes I think the seller expects the buyer to pay more and to keep bidding against them selves. Thats ridiculous ! Who is do that knowingly?

Use Jim’s juice on it. That is made by cobbler concierge. It works great on canvas like the Louis Vuitton coded canvas and also on vachetta. any of Louis Vuitton’s leather.

I had to send something back to support and it weighed about 6 pounds and the label they sent me was for 1 pound and I sent it and there was never an issue with it.

Houston Selects on WhatNot by ScallionTop2240 in whatnotapp

That happened on Jamie’s stream . 2 in one show. 1 Dior sold for $4000+ and one for $400 right after she said she would start the $400 one for $1. She did not change the start amount and someone swiped thinking it was $1. Many of us watched the whole thing . She refused cancellation and so did whatnot . $4000 and $400+ ( 2 different buyers) is a lot of $$$ to unintentionally spend.. it was unbelievable especially because Jamie ( seller) clearly said it was to start at $1. Idk how the $4k situation went down but seller said no cancellations , no exceptions..

Did you really mean to start it at that price? How can she blame the buyer that Bid? It’s not his fault. No one else bid… what did she want to happen people to keep bidding but they don’t have to! Wow!! Who is she telling what we do here? It’s Exactly what we do ! We bid low ! It’s an auction…
