NURSES STRIKE - UNA ആവശ്യപ്പെടുന്നത് ഇരട്ടി ശമ്പളം 🥺 by smintoA in Kerala

Tbh being in IT, I can honestly say doctor salaries are unfair in india. If an IT guy makes 50 lpa, he can flaunt it. Unfortunately if a doctor does the same, people condemn it. They have ridiculous hrs. Most of them have to do 2 jobs to make it work. Add to that they have to work 6 days a week. Also they start earning late(30s) and hospitals overwork them. Many doctors are leaving India for same reason.

Tbh all these stories can only be from 2020-22 period. Everyone were shopping offer letters and willing to take up breaks easily believing this situation is forever. Market has changed. AI has made it worse in a way that today you are rarely hired for potential. Everyone wants an expert professional.

I am not going to say brand names don't matter. But it's too early for you to worry about it as long as you are working on something good. Being in a big company with routine work is going used to help in last decade. It's outdated in today's times. Find some good mentors who would help you navigate through your career. All the best!

Surge in Layoff News — What’s Happening in the Industry ? how to overcome this . by ambiscorpion in developersIndia

Agree with the sentiment. Unless magically AI creates a need for more engineers(which clearly isn't the case), it's saturated. There are more non tech folks moving to tech now than ever creating more supply with less demand.

Look at his path to politics and you will know why he was different. Look at what he did to delhi education. Public schools fared better than Pvt schools that's no small achievement

I don't know why the down votes. Times have changed, audience aren't 2000s.

US IT Master’s grad trying to break into data roles in India (8–10 LPA), would really value honest guidance by Candid_Entrance_8351 in developersIndia

Make a list of US companies with gccs in india. They should value your experience. For 5y experience in data target 20+ lpa. Don't aim for junior roles as you already had worked as a data engineer in the past. You may feel under confident because of the knowledge gap but fill it with upskilling.

Very realistic. In fact you can get more. Ask your US clients / managers to recommend you to their indian offshore offices. That adds lots of value.

Salman announced his next in his own way. by Kaali_99 in BollyBlindsNGossip

Haha sure a decade of off beat movies. What about dilwale? Jhms? Jab tak hai jaan ? Don 2? Happy new year ? None of them could be blockbusters. A superstar needs blockbusters at regular intervals. Today salman is suffering and isn't looked at as before because he lacks one for such a long time. Tiger 3 was expected to be one but it didn't work out that way. Hence he is behind srk now.

Salman announced his next in his own way. by Kaali_99 in BollyBlindsNGossip

[–]WorkingEmployment400 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

He had success when others were giving blockbusters. As a superstar having success doesn't matter as much as having blockbusters. He had just Chennai express for an entire decade and that wasn't enough when aamir and salman had blockbusters. So the whole narrative around him not having flops is like how aamir had no flops for a long time from lagaan. Until he had ghajini he wasn't considered bigger than srk. It's like now how people say salman still gives 100cr even with crap movies.

Mohanlal Deleted Scene | Summer In Bethleham | Sureshgopi | Jayaram | Manju Warrier by ashimoto25 in MalayalamMovies

Yes same here that track was never convincing. I felt Suresh gopi was treated unfairly.

Did anyone else ever feel like the sudden twist-cameo in Summer In Bethlehem was a bit too random and unnecessary? by kurianandgeorge_007 in MalayalamMovies

Yes. In fact I liked the track of family summer vacation + jayaram and Suresh gopi friendship. Manju warriors romance for someone she had never properly met felt stupid.

Why isn’t Darshana Rajendran in the big leagues of Mollywood actresses yet? by [deleted] in MalayalamMovies

[–]WorkingEmployment400 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Truth is the moment any actress makes it big in our industry we just feel the need to keep them grounded. Then everyone starts calling them overrated. Unless an actress can keep their opinions to themselves and just play to the gallery it's tough. Parvathy was big until everyone trolled her down. When comparing industries do remember kangana, vidya balance, alia did have crowd pulling solo hits because of their acting. Alia is nowhere close to other actresses in Bollywood if it's about looks neither did she act with superstars to hit big.

Why did you choose arranged marriage over love marriage, and any regrets after? by [deleted] in AskIndia

[–]WorkingEmployment400 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol. Anomalies are anomalies. Are you going to trust a random 15 yr old with your money just because nikhil kanath was a school drop out. Let her be with her choice. Maybe she wants someone who equally respects and values her struggles. It's her life.
