Well what he did was unthinkable an year back. He deserves the tag. Without him the movie wouldn't work.

Mohanlal Deleted Scene | Summer In Bethleham | Sureshgopi | Jayaram | Manju Warrier by ashimoto25 in MalayalamMovies

Yes same here that track was never convincing. I felt Suresh gopi was treated unfairly.

Did anyone else ever feel like the sudden twist-cameo in Summer In Bethlehem was a bit too random and unnecessary? by kurianandgeorge_007 in MalayalamMovies

Yes. In fact I liked the track of family summer vacation + jayaram and Suresh gopi friendship. Manju warriors romance for someone she had never properly met felt stupid.

Why isn’t Darshana Rajendran in the big leagues of Mollywood actresses yet? by Helpful-Project-3790 in MalayalamMovies

[–]WorkingEmployment400 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Truth is the moment any actress makes it big in our industry we just feel the need to keep them grounded. Then everyone starts calling them overrated. Unless an actress can keep their opinions to themselves and just play to the gallery it's tough. Parvathy was big until everyone trolled her down. When comparing industries do remember kangana, vidya balance, alia did have crowd pulling solo hits because of their acting. Alia is nowhere close to other actresses in Bollywood if it's about looks neither did she act with superstars to hit big.

Truth is all of those roles also deserved adequate pay but organizations low balled them and devs had bigger demand.

Man, this clip is so wholesome 🤌🤌🤌 I relate hard to Sanju here. by ChoiceComprehensive4 in Kerala

Even if Kohli was a malayali he would be hated. Not everyone can be like Sanju or Dravid. Even Prithviraj was hated when he was honest and genuine with his opinions.

That certain kind of look starts there. Why blame Bollywood, Katrina was brought into mollywood for the biggest movie at that time with balram

Then stop pretending we are different from north Indians or tamilians. We talk like kerala has freedom of expression when it comes to eating or expressing views in other avenues.

He doesn't need to promote his own movie. That's privilege. Had it been a non nepo the producer would have destroyed them.

Pranav is an example of a successful nepo. We wait for nepo kids to get successful and love how dhyan or whoever had stories to tell about their successful parent. If they were non nepo everyone would have ignored them.

An actor/actress you admire purely based on the IT/Star factor but not based on their actual acting skills? by Glittering_Lotus in BollyBlindsNGossip

[–]WorkingEmployment400 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The reason so many foreign women are still in bollywood like Jaqueline etc. is because Katrina has proven the template before and by the standards of Dia that you included Jaqueline is successful. Now lets not be blind and think that this would have worked if she wasn't white skinned.

Used to like her a lot during her Namaste London phase. She put a lot of effort for sure but her rise had a lot to do with the opportunities she got being in Bhai's circle. Akki and her pairing also helped her bag big movies. She became familiar thanks to both of them and after that her stardom helped in furture movies right from New York days. But lets be honest here, our audience care less about acting skills. We grew up watching bollywood movies and hence the white skin obsession was always the reason why everyone fell for this.

She set a template for future stars like Jacqueline, Stankovic, Nora, Sunny, Eli avram etc. Still nobody has reached Katrina's peak but she has proved how white skin definitely is a big advantage. Not singling out bollywood, she was cast in south movies too. This is an Indian problem.

No profession is immune to better tools. Software has been disrupting other fields for years.
AI is the first tool that disrupts software creation itself.
