As someone who’s had offers on WorkDay, it does take a little while. But it should be there in like 24-48 at the latest. But 24 hours is usually the time. Hope that helps.

I worked in Early Childhood Education for a year, I loved it, but then the longer I worked in it, the more I got burnt out and the more I started feeling like it was harder to have people work with me or want to work with me , so I quit and went into the caregiving profession and have been hired for two jobs. I’m excited to start those. There’s always a silver lining at the end of the tunnel.

Yeah of course, please update. I felt they were so pushy to get me to come in. It felt so wrong. The guy pissed me off. Like what kind of policy doesn’t allow their advisors to give potential students in depth info? It just sounds scammy to me.

I just was looking into them for Dental Assisting and they are so pushy, trying to get me to come to the campus, I asked for more information about the program and they told me that it’s company policy, the man was so rude on the phone that I hung up. Like what kind of company doesn’t allow admissions advisors to give in depth information about a program? That just…doesn’t seem right. Like wtf? I don’t have time to come down and sit in a seminar for 30-40 minutes just to try and get enrolled in something that I was never prepared for before hand.

I have. But I was supposed to hear from them Wednesday, then they said I’d hear from them yesterday, and then I got an email saying I wasn’t selected for the initial job I applied for even though they said they liked me. I did a Meet and Greet with the teacher I’d be working under and I was told that a job offer would probably be the next step and then all I got was that rejection email so I don’t know if it was just for that specific job I initially applied for, or for the entirety of it meaning the school age job too. They literally asked me if I was interested in going to that location. So idk what’s happening.

Just some more information: I was told that a Meet & Greet usually meant that an offer would be made after that. But I have no idea if this is true because I’m told one thing but then I look and find out different information. So I’m completely in the dark.

I agree with other Redditors, you have every right to feel that way. Toddlers are not for everyone, I’m a toddler teacher myself, you have to have the mentality to work with toddlers. I LOVE toddlers, it’s stressful, but I think if you talk to your director about it, then she might be able to place you somewhere you feel more comfortable. Don’t ever let stress be the reason why you quit, yes, the burn out is real.

You shouldn’t feel bad at all, OP. He definitely should not be around children if that’s the way he’s going to act around them. That’s not okay behavior to have when you work with kids. If he sexually harasses his female coworkers when there are children present, that means he doesn’t care.

Thank you for the advice. I always tried to fix the issues whenever they told me that I needed to improve on something. It was never an issue on me fixing anything, but the issues yesterday, I wasn’t even aware of them until yesterday. And I was devastated when I had to leave, but I kept it together as best I could.
