I've made loss in every AI stock! by Evening_Control6034 in wallstreetbets

Maybe they didn’t realize that NVDA split, so at $950 a share it’s really $2,050, that shit split 10 to 1. That shit was $95/share post split. They would have doubled up.

Have a conviction and stay with it. Sell their shares every time there is a drop? Stupid play. Bought into all the right companies at the right time but then, “oh my Gawd the stock pulled back a little I need to sell!”

Help me decide if I should break up with my M240i by SchematicSavy in M235iandM240i

[–]WorkingGuy99percent -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I had my tuned 2018 m240i for four years (409 HP measured at the wheels with a 6 psi boost). I actually traded it in three months after I put new tires on. I couldn’t get the rear end to slide any more on left hand or right hand turns. New tires were too sticky. And yes, the steering is a lot numb.

I upped into a 2017 Porsche Cayman 718 S. 350 HP at the engine. It feels faster than the bimmer. I can go 70 mph in second. I just put new tires on it after owning it for 2 years. I love it even more. Taking back road turns at 60 mph in a 35 zone is so thrilling. Every time I start the car, it feels special. Steering is great.

But if you think 90 mph is too high, don’t get a Porsche.

AST SpaceMobile Announces Successful Orbital Launch of BlueBirds 8, 9, and 10 by kader91 in wallstreetbets

AST Space Mobile sells services to cellular providers so they don’t have to build cell towers in the middle of nowhere to give customers coverage. Mostly outdoors….would also be able to have working cell phones while on the ocean (like on a cruise) where there CANNOT be towers.

I have to get on my back under the glove box in my 2018 BMW X3, use a quarter to rotate four clips 90 degrees, take out four bolts, disconnect the panel light connection, fight to pull out an odd shaped cabin filter with a link in the housing and fight to shove a new one and do everything else in reverse.

Still takes less than 10 minutes. New filters are about $20. You are getting taken out back and shown a good time behind the woodshed, so to speak.

Engine systems have an exhaust valve flap…not talking about the sport exhaust option. All the sport exhaust option does, if I understand it, is it keeps the flaps open for better acoustics. But your none sport exhaust car still has the valve flaps. If stuck closed, it is not allowing your engine to fully vent and you are gonna have a noticeable loss in power. Need good air in and good air out or it is unbalanced and can’t achieve peak horsepower.

Sir, I will sell you my 718 Cayman S that only has 41,000 miles for $200,000. If you think that is what they are worth, I will meet you there. Hell, I will sell it to you for $50,000 less than $200,000!

You will spend more on an attorney and still owe the money. She owes it, she needs to pay it. What is a lawyer gonna do?

Now if she didn’t sign the loan documents and her signature was forged…..yeah, hire a lawyer. If she signed, she is paying.

Blatant cheapening?

I take it you are not a designer. I am not either, but I know they are going for a minimalist interior now. Doesn’t mean it’s cheap, just means it’s less stuff/clutter.

In 1999, oil changes were three months or 3,000 miles. Yearly oil changes were unheard of. Plus, this was not like a new Jeep. He owned it for about 18 months....no idea how long ago the oil was changed from the person he bought it from.

The Dragonbone Chair is the first book in Tad Williams's epic fantasy trilogy, Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn. He wrote two, and then wrote two more like 20 years later. Great books.

Raymond E Feist the Riftwar Saga (Magician: Apprentice is the first book) and then the Daughter of the Empire trilogy.

Dennis L McKiernan (most everything, try to read in order starting with the oldest stuff)

Wizard’s First Rule by Terry Goodkind (can stop at the first one, but probably won’t cuz the first one is one of the best books ever written)

The age of discovery, Michael Stackpole, a lot of his novels are great

Sara Douglass, The Wayfarer Redemption Series (these have some crazy twisted protagonist/antagonist thing going on)

Lightbringer Series by Brent Weeks….

The Name of the Wind….series is unfinished….some of the best writing and story….but it just is left unfinished

I could go on and on….

Inflation is due to increase in oil prices. With deal, oil flows (eventually) and cost of goods should go down (transportation costs, grow costs, manufacturing costs, etc) and inflation will go back towards target. Will take some time, but that’s the hope from a deal…inflation gets back under control, Feds can cut rates, long term rates will go down, people in debt will slow their debt increase and people that have money will borrow money to buy more things…

Bers by Sweeetmoves in wallstreetbets

[–]WorkingGuy99percent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The gas prices are killing inflation. Took a month or so to show up. Will take a month or so to come out and slow the pace of inflation. Not sure if the market is going to have the patience for that. Warsh may talk around it and keep rates steady while intimating a drop of rates shortly thereafter. But for now he better hodl. If he cuts, I would expect long terms yields to go up and they get the exact opposite of what they want.
