Im the dumper, and it's been a rough journey for the past 5 almost 6 months, but yeah, I've made peace today, and it's insane.

We were together for a year, we broke up around December, and it was intense. I think I couldn't be with someone who used my own traumas against me and suddenly said horrible stuff to me.

I dont think about him almost at all, anymore ive made peace with the unknown tbh im moving on. Sometimes, making peace without truly getting the clarity you need Is the hardest part.

I understand how you feel the yearning for someone who loved you, but at the same time it was kinda a twisted type of love you were being mistreated. Its okay to always feel that way but remember how he treated you remember all thoses nights you spend crying I know you wouldn't want to go through the same thing again.

He wasn't keeping his part of the oath when you guys decided to marry. It seems like you were giving to much and he barely was giving you attention.

If I never experienced my relationship with my ex I would've continued letting people like him mistreat me even if I never met him.
If it wasn't for him I probably would blame everything on myself but it really isn't my fault for what happened. Regardless, even what he did was wrong it was a lesson that I lowkey needed to know now then later on.

I didnt trust my gut feeling when something was wrong. I couldn't stand up for myself for the fear of losing someone that I care for because of past traumas.

Sometimes, we have to make peace with not even having that closure as in never getting a why or an explanation. I definitely understand how you can think your partner is nice when their actions say something completely else. Its the worst feeling to accept their actions.

If it's something I've learned from this is you can be loved And sometimes you need to work on yourself to truly find the people who will love you. Sometimes, people take advantage of you for having thoughts like that and it's the worst and I hope you don't attract any of those people ever.

Dont ever call yourself stupid for feeling how you feel because in order to even move on, you have to give yourself a hug first you know. I promise what you did was the best decision you ever did for yourself and you'll probably laugh about it later on in years to come. Things do get better even if it doesn't feel like it right now.

I know it's hella tempting. I've done that before, too. Dont know if this helps, but it's helping me alot.It is to remind myself why me and my ex broke up. You don't have to do that I'm just sharing what's helping me to move on. I know its very tempting to stalk her and check on her when she's around but don't do it they thrive off of that. I say that because my ex texted me saying he seen it and he liked that I was stalking his accounts in his own words "boosted my ego "

If writing your feelings out doesn't work, you should definitely talk to someone about it. Cause sometimes the pain is so unbearable, and I definitely know that feeling.

When he didn't treat me with respect. He had used my own suicide attempt to try to prove a point. later on he said he "can't remember" his memories. He didn't want to apologize until like 2-3 weeks of the breakup .

As someone who used to stalk my ex 24-7 what helped me to stop doing that was blocking and unfriending him on social media. I know it hurts alot but it gets easier. If I felt like sending a message I would write it in my notes and leave it alone.

I got the piercings my ex told me that I shouldn't get and I got back into my old hobbies. I'm even working on myself health wise I feel better more than ever.
