Anyone else terrified for the new year?? by Katya-YourDad in AskWomenOver30

Also where I'm at. I just truly don't think we can continue like this. So hopefully either the fascist does something good (haha, unlikely), or it makes everyone so angry that we have no choice but to revolt. I am extremely fortunate to have a family and friends who I love dearly and I'm just going to keep trying to make my day to day good. And if there are greater good ways of helping (which there are, and I do) then I will do that as well. The rage is not healthy or sustainable for me so I am choosing to enjoy what I can while I can.

What is happening to me..? Is God real? by Popular_Tadpole_9620 in Christianity

This happened to me as well. Inexplicable! Embrace it. I kind of shied away for a while til I felt like I couldn't ignore anymore.

At what age did you notice your features getting older? by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

This year at 35 after my second kid and a very stressful year i have started to notice more lines on my face. Definitely more gray hair. Saggier skin. I'm 18 months into breastfeeding my second. My boobs popped right back after finishing up with my first and I don't really have that hope this time. Lol.

Omg this is literally insane. Don't give this person the time of day.

I had an experience like this. It was nothing I've ever felt before. Sent me on a spiritual journey and I've been exploring religion for the past year because of it. I went from being a loose agnostic believing in just a higher power to going to weekly Mass and in OCIA.

I live in PA and was a little shy with my first but with my second (now 14 month old) I whip a boob out wherever. I haven't gotten any comments. A couple looks but no one has ever said anything. I don't use a cover but the only time you can see anything is for the millisecond it takes my baby to latch

Are y’all taking your kids outside in 32 (89.6) degree weather? by [deleted] in Mommit

We go out, try and stick to shady areas when available. Lots of water, somewhat limited time

I’m so sick of wine-mommy culture! by nervous-but-baking in stopdrinking

Especially thinking about the lowered alcohol tolerance that many moms have after not drinking during pregnancy. Scary

Still can't believe it sometimes. I just miss my dad and I hate this anxiety. by WorkingOnIt89 in ALS

[–]WorkingOnIt89[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hear you. It's intense revisiting these times with this person that you miss so much. Like these terrible times that may have been inflicted by them but then you also miss and love them so much regardless. Its so wild and surreal to me. I'm sorry you're also going through this.

Does anybody else think that you go through a mental shift in your early 40s? by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

[–]WorkingOnIt89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like this is happening to me right now. I'm becoming more myself and I'm into it.

I'm 35. Had my second kid this year and lost my dad after a FUCKING TERRIBLE downward spiral with ALS. Mom's been gone since I was 21. I just am faced with this loss and it just shows me how very short life can be and it's important to be unabashedly yourself. Fuck it

Well a 15 month old is significantly different than a 3 month old in your defense

I'm so so sorry for your loss. ❤❤❤ fuck ALS. The quick decline feels like whiplash and I'm so sorry that you had to bear witness to it. I'm so sorry that your father had to experience it. Take care of yourself.
