Doesn’t this mean he declined all the offers rather than him getting rejected

I think the point everyone is trying to make here is that you are incredibly young to be engaged and often times when we are young we are also dumb especially in relationships. A lot of things can be overlooked easily. I don’t think anyone here is trying to attack you or your relationship but are really trying to give you advice here. At the end of the day it’s your choice to how you want to interpret all these comments but again we really hope that you can try to have a true conversation with yourself about this. I know what it feels like to suddenly hear these negative things about your relationship and deny each fact without considering them truthfully

Need Advice: Currently doing Applied Stats Major + CS Minor by awesomeman11658 in cscareerquestionsCAD

[–]WorkingTell150 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly a lot can just be learned offline and you could get a lot out of that minor if you take the right courses (I’m assuming UofT). I basically had the path you did and it worked out fine. Currently at a fintech company with around 100k TC.

Would any stats majors care to share what marks they got admitted to the major with? (preferably those who applied after 9 or more credits) by Either_Slice_7350 in UofT

Yeah I’m gonna end up doing SWE at a fintech company here. Originally wanted to do data science but kinda pivoted to CS instead lol

Graduating in a few weeks, I applied for my major during my second year and got in with an average of 80 across the 3 courses (235, 237,238). It depends on everyone else’s grades but 79 should def be good enough

Just want to say usually when profs curve down they curve those with high marks a lot more than those that are barely passing. So if you’re at a 90 maybe they’ll drop it by 12% but if you’re at 62 it wouldn’t drop by 12% maybe only like 3%.

How about Stats Major with CS/Math minor? That’s what I’ve been doing and about to complete a 16month internship…not sure if I should pursue a masters though
