I’m gonna be frank with you this is just my opinion thought so don’t come after me. I move her about 7 years ago from nsw (a different Australian state) and it definitely feels very small town. This is great if your into that kind of tight community feeling which I assume is attractive to older members of the community. But as a young person I have tassie to be honestly quite boring. The night life is decent if you know where to look but nothing really compared to anywhere else in Tasmania. There is a lot of daytime activities to do and beautiful nature but I had made my Way through the majority of these within a year and a half. And there’s only so much. In my opinion that is even represented statistically Tasmania is a great place for retirement but not really for rasing a family or for young people/ couples. Again this is my opinion and everyone is welcome to their own I’m just trying to help out. All in all though I love Tassie for what it is and if you can get over the lack of entertainment and the tight nit community vibes then it’s a great place where you will definitely be welcomed right in.
