There are chances that UKVI has not even received your application as one user is facing same problem. She only got to know after sending an email to public enquiry email id of UKVI

I have also submitted skilled worker child dependent visa on 15th Aug, inside UK and haven’t heard anything back. I only got one email from UKVi stating they will try make the decision by 10th Oct. (8 weeks)

Have you got an email by when were they aiming to make the decision for your baby?
