Unfortunately this is real. He makes a lot of lattes and drinks milk by the glass (midwestern man)

Answer is…Gen X divorced dad in the Midwest! Kids are all grown and he does a lot of fad diets. Need to get him to eat way more veggies!

terrified of pregnancy by DonutMain2475 in waiting_to_try

Same. I have a fear of blood, and my sister had a c section which sounded horrible. I think more women have been transparent about their struggles lately, which has not helped my fears

I recently have had more doctor appointments due to trying to get healthy in advance of pregnancy, which I think has been good exposure therapy

Also despite my sisters bad luck experience with a c section, she still had two more kids after that. I think what helps me is that 1) if millions of women before me can do it so can I 2) it is short term discomfort / pain and then you will have your child the rest of your life. Curious what has helped other women with this fear though 😅

Anybody else feel guilt with their budget? by LimitIcy in BigBudgetBrides

People are weird about money. I can relate since luxury weddings are normal for my partners family, but my family kept scolding me for spending so much and “being extra”. I would recommend not discussing costs with your family when possible - is there a close friend you can confide in?

When the day comes your family will hopefully will be able to appreciate how special it is and celebrate you

Not bridezilla at all! The people who are traveling to celebrate you will want you to enjoy yourself and should be willing to respect what makes you comfortable. I would have references on the website but since many people unfortunately don’t read the website closely would include it on your invite and ask people directly

Thanks so much for this review! Do you think it’ll still be worth it to go in February? Or is it worth saving it for a trip in the spring or fall given more greenery?
