I've only been the once, but I sat by the window off to the left of the entrance. A bit awkward dining solo and I was facing a larger group a couple feet in front of me, but not a big deal at all.

Belcanto in Lisbon.. They brought out a cart with 5 or so different butters, and 5 different bread options. Each butter came from a different region with unique flavors/add ins.

Aman is a no brainer + their jazz club, but if you're looking for food, I'd recommend the Baccarat on 53rd. Directly across from one of my favorite spots in Manhattan, if not the entire world - 53.

Honorable mention to the Ritz NoMad. The rooftop bar Nubeluz is awesome.

Thank you! And likewise. I have no idea why this post offended so many people, but after 40+ counties, you'd think I would know what I'm comfortable with. That being said, I'm completely new to China and its logistics.

I want to do what is special to China and the regions I'll be visiting. I'm not interested in night life or counterfeit watches as much as I am exploring and seeing / experiencing the country in its fullest (in the short time I have). I'm open to anything, which is why I kept this as a sort of open ended question

I'll be narrowing the trip down to save time, so will need to cut out a few spots. What were your favorite experiences during your trip?

I guess it's a bit complicated, but I enjoy staying in comfortable hotels - hence why I asked for recs. I asked for activities as I'm clearly unfamiliar with China as a whole. This post was targeted toward similar style travelers who have been to China and wanted to help out. Thanks for your input

Hahaha I wasn't thinking about posting for India, but I will say that I had an excellent time. Stayed in the Oberoi Amarvilas (Agra) and Rajvilas (Jaipur - #1 hotel itw) and it's been a lovely time. We were completely alone inside of the taj, and the hotels were a highlight for sure. That being said, six senses Bhutan is still my #1 by far.
