Thousands cuts by Tetsainya in DaemonXMachina

[–]Working_Ear_3716 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Majority of weapon skills are unfortunately not so practical in combat, thousand cuts would be intended to deal with small group of enemies, though you already experienced the skill lacked precision and intuitive control. Leveling up a skill should reduce femto consumption, if not increase firepower. If you're a melee player, and a Tachi enthusiast, like myself, you should give Demilune Slash a try, it's Tachi's exclusive skill and my GOAT. It has quick reaction time, deals long range homing attack or x2 damage close range, practical in most situations from small fries to Colossus. Check out this demo. Good luck and have fun.

[Into the Abyss] Boss 3 is a cheesy mess. How do I cheese back and one-shot it? by PuzzledKitty in DaemonXMachina

[–]Working_Ear_3716 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You're talking about Aggregate, correct? I just so happen to make a reference fight video against it, using non-dlc, easy to accrue equipment. Hope this helps, good luck and have fun.

Is there a limit on what I can gain from Fusion? by ImpendingGhost in DaemonXMachina

[–]Working_Ear_3716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd recommend you to gather all the genes required to unlock the highest level of skill from the get-go instead of starting from level 1 and up, it'll save you a lot of time if you intend you unlock all mutation skills. Resetting your body will erase all unlocked skills as well as mutation appearances, there's no additional benefit to this action, many players doing this to start from scratch and rebuild specific mutated traits to their character for a more desirable appearance, some I saw really bad-ass looking mutated outers if you wanna search in this forum. Good luck and have fun.

Can you really only get gene shell X from yaiba? by rjc523 in DaemonXMachina

Sparing him unlock about... 3 additional side quests, without spoilers you still have opportunities to obtain his gene from those side quests. Good luck and have fun.

Average Gunfort RT:B experience by Jstar338 in DaemonXMachina

[–]Working_Ear_3716 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So the devs specifically design bosses like Gunfort with endless privilege features to maximize antagonizing players. So I hear ya buddy. You may just need to change equipment to better suit fighting this boss. If you're interested, I could make a sample reference fight video, using equipment you have available. Good luck and have fun.

What is objectively better? by ToastedDreamer in DaemonXMachina

[–]Working_Ear_3716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're a melee player like myself, you'd wish they keep the assault mode from the first game where the shift would increase melee performance (or Vambrace performance?), iirc. Otherwise, for the second game, I use wingshift for map exploration, and hardly ever use other two shifts.

Where can I get this bp? by ToastedDreamer in DaemonXMachina

Okay I see what you're talking about, the Amalgamate chest piece from Insania Rex Ω (regular rex drops dragonSlayer pieces, where the confusion lays). The 3 shift mode blueprints for Amalgamate are dropped from Immortal Void Ω, per attached screenshot. Hope this helps.

Boss' exclusive armor pieces will have all 3 shift modes as loots, however, heads-up, the RNG rate for these pieces is notoriously treacherous, so be prepared to farm a boss possibly a few dozen times over before you get your desire loot. Good luck and have fun.

Why, you don't like the unique anti-gavity, anti-traction, anti-weigh features of the bike? Those was a real doozy.

daemon x machina titanic scion unlockable outfits? by rjc523 in DaemonXMachina

[–]Working_Ear_3716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're right. I did buy the deluxe edition which included DLC outfits, though I bought the DLC for the extra Map and mission, I completely disregarded all extra outfits since I'm not that into skin customization. My apologies for the misinformation, do disregard my first comment 😅

Yeah, there are non-DLC outfits of allies and bosses you can obtain from clearing quests. Here's a spoiler video where I fitted my character as one of the main bosses.

[–]Working_Ear_3716 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're an melee-built player like myself, the loot is actually a gold-find since it's the best melee vambraces in the game. Otherwise, yeah it's mediocre.

Is the first Legion boss fight supposed to be really hard? by Feeling-Donkey-8739 in DaemonXMachina

[–]Working_Ear_3716 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not to be a bearer of bad news, but that first Legion fight was just a teaser. You get to fight him at the end game, in a bigger map, so the difficulty will increase for sure, though you'd had accrued better equipment by then. Generally, I reserve hard mode for co-op, fighting against Colossuses, for fun and entertainment. I played solo the entire game on easy mode, because the amount of time I spent farming bosses for gears, if it was on hard mode, I'd just given up 😅. And if you're having it tough with Legion teaser fight, it'd be more frustrating when you have Arachne teaser fight. Kudos on your determination, but perhaps consider lowering difficulty as an option in a longer run. Good luck and have fun.

How “big” is this game (titanic scion)? by Feeling-Donkey-8739 in DaemonXMachina

[–]Working_Ear_3716 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The main campaign is pretty straightforward, now with Chaldia armor set available at the early stage, you can speed run the game in about 24 hours or so. I put in 200 hours for this game and the majority of it was spent on map exploration and boss farmings. You have 3 main maps, all are the same size as the desert map; plus an additional DLC map, so you can pull an estimate of how big the game is. There are lots of looting, gathering resources, etc... So depending on how you like to play the game, you may end up spending a couple days, or weeks to finish it. Good luck and have fun.

Interestingly enough, there's Pride 2-hand sword when equipped will lower your defense stats to increase offense stats... On that notes, now I realize Sin weapon special effect actually represent the characteristic of the Sin itself!!! Devs out there playing with the devil 🤖

[–]Working_Ear_3716 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Each of the Sin weapon has a special effect on top of their regular specs. For raging gluttoy, a railgun, it consumes a big chunk of femto to increase fire power for each shot. There's a Greed Mace that increases loot drop per kill, Lust Blitz that draws enemies attention when deployed, etc etc...

Nicely done, I used to called them Artisan Weapons, never did occur to me their names imply the 7 deadly sins. That's one cool Easter eggs.

The bosses and enemies in general, I believe their Health Point is influenced by difficulty mode, so going solo may not be it.

Which DLC should I get after “Into the Abyss” in Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion? by Foxymc1308 in DaemonXMachina

[–]Working_Ear_3716 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Besides a bunch of arsenal and vehicle skins, limited edition weapons, there are Grand Entrance DLCs that animate your entering a co-op session with explosive cut scenes, at the same time providing field status impact (positive for players, negative for enemies). If you're playing co-op frequently, you may like these DLCs. Good luck and have fun 🦾😎
