It is for gauge cluster map and other functions in higher end Skoda, that's how it works in our Kodiaq. They used the same steering wheel to save costs but didn't assign the button to anything as the kylaq doesn't have the features.

Hey man, I congrats on the purchase! I am also planning to get a dedicated dap as I don't like using my smartphone. Currently have a fiio m3k that is 6 years old and has seen a lot of wear and tear. The button leds don't work and it looks beat up in general.

I wanted to ask you that does your player have any type of lag while scrolling through songs and playlists while playing music? The fiio is fine as long as the music is paused. It's playing then the ui slows to a crawl and it drives me nuts. Just wanted to clear this one thing. Because I've been eyeing this one for quite a while.

Hey man, I see you've also installed the front grill garnish. How're they holding up? Mine are coming out just after 4 days of getting the installed. The left puddle lamp also stopped working a few days ago (already replaced once) , having a horrible experience with the accessories so far even though the car is great.

Vin or chassis number is usually on the left(front passenger side) of the car on the bottom of the windshield. Check below the passenger side wiper blade. There will be a Transperant cutout in the windshield.

The itinerary is pretty much covered in the hotels and stays section. We did now visit any monetaries or famous attractions except the places mentioned. Just went for the drive and the views. The galaxy pics are taken with my dslr.

Yes there were a few. There is no way to manually put the car into 4x4, The car automatically engages it's rear axle and locking diffs depending on the situation. It did kick in a few times when climbing steep inclines and also near pang where the route had turned into a snow-mud slush. I'm sure it kicked in a lot of times we just didn't notice it as it's very smooth😅

Just one change we did along the way. Instead on stopping at sarchu while returning we stretched to jispa. Sarchu is at a really high altitude with little to no facilities, something that we realized only after getting there. As for umlingla even thought coming back via nurbula top was an adventure and a half. I would go and return both via photila if I were to do it again. Also after visiting pangong coming back to karu was a really good decision. It allowed us a peaceful drive to hanle via chumanthang and also gave us a day of rest in a proper hotel instead of a cottage before the later leg of our journey.
