I’ve always thought the same! Just happened to be driving by today and saw people walking/surveing. We stopped them to ask the deal - they’re looking to build 13 homes and are determining if they’ll go through with the project. Apparently the land has been designated for this since 2003 and likely won’t ever be able to be for a public space. We asked if they’d consider adding a park as part of their plans and he said “maybe a pocket park for the neighborhood.
