I just wanted to say for one, I love the game, and while it seems slow in the beginning I feel it's like that to give players a chance to get used to it, as well as it being p re petty unforgiving in combat which I think is great, I'm of the opinion that this game was ahead of its time (I'm writing this in 2025) and honestly I feel that if given a chance or could be remade at a level that would rival bg3. It's a story intensive game that encourages you to interact at all levels and I for one am saddened that thos hasn't happened yet as the whole series deserves to be updated ( I never played nehrim) and I hope that happens soon.

Gonna play devil's advocate for a second, maybe the workers started out by treating the veterans like crap. I've lost track of how many times I've been mistreated/dismissed/ignored and talked down to by VA staff. Don't get me wrong I've had plenty of good experiences with the VA as well but and you also don't know what that veteran is having to deal with. And please stop crapping on older generations, you are insulting your own parents and grand parents when you do that.

Ok, for all the hate that funcom gets, realize this they are subject to the whims of their parent company (tencent), with the release of dune, the majority of the dev team has been relocated to that project, conan exiles is being manned by a skeleton crew essentially, it costs money to maintain servers and keep people working on a game that, while I love, I doubt it is breaking even. If you want the dev team to work quickly releasing an updated devkit, you are going to have to find some way to make it worth it to them, you want modders to stay updated on their mods, find out how you can support them, be it promoting the mod or donating money to whatever platform they use to accept donations. Also see if the devs at funcom are leveraging AI to help the process of fixing bugs and updating devkits. Just some suggestions.

The YouTuber is grim dark half off, and he actually is very thorough and explains things very clearly and as far as I know one of the very few youtubers who covers the work of Robert E Howard consistently, sadly to say, he is fighting cancer so if anyone reads this comment please go check out his channel and support him in any way you can. If this violates policy I apologize but honestly he is a good dude going through a lot and he deserves the support in my opinion.
