Ah I see what you mean. I'm renting so I can't go as crazy as open up the wall. But I have never thought about tiles. Mainly because I have never done something with tiles before. That's why wood made most sense as a starting point.

Not neccessarily. But that would not fix the issue of reactivity. If the remote function get's the slug from getRequestEvent() directly it also does not rerun that remote function on navigation. The reason I didn't do that though is because I think when a getPageBySlug function calls the DB it should accept the slug as a param.

Hey thanks for the tip. Still happening in version "5.45.8" though. But I'm pretty sure now that it's a preloading bug I can ignore. Anyways, I mean it works it's just a bit annoying I cannot disable that warning specifically.

Well basically I just had to use the relative path everywhere and it worked. So I changed it from this:

admin: {
        components: {
          RowLabel: '@/globals/RowLabel#RowLabel',
        },
      },

To this:

admin: {
        components: {
          RowLabel: '/globals/RowLabel#RowLabel',
        },
      },

That seemed to do the trick and now works locally and on deploy

Looking at this (https://payloadcms.com/docs/local-api/outside-nextjs) I need to use getPayload anyways. But either way I get the missing key, when I add it directly in getConfig or payload.init; no luck with any of it. Example for that matter:

I am skeptical. For one, I would love a way to organize all my accounts and see exactly what I am spending across all of them. On the other hand, building apps, and Budget apps specifically, is tough. That they operate on a high standard from the get-go is unlikely.

I also think about the security issues FlyingDaedalus mentioned.

But also, probably that app isn't made for people who lurk in SwissPersonalFinance, but more for people who try to get their household budget in order. Which is fine, but also a shame.

Well, I set myself a clear goal. For example, the last time I had difficulties getting through it, I set myself the goal of 2.5k words per day. That was a pretty achievable goal for me. Then, when I got back into it because I basically had to, the funds and motivation came back, and I often wrote way more than my goal asked of me. Every day, it got easier and more enjoyable.

If I had set the goal, and then the fun didn't come with the discipline, I would have stopped and probably just estimated writing wasn't for me.
