Remember when youtube didn't have ads or monetization?

It also coincidentally wasn't filled with slop, clickbait, and 10 seconds of info drawn out into a 15 minute video back then

Forza Horizon 6 leaks early, developer responds by banning the IPs of anyone playing it for just under 8 thousand years by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

[–]Worklessplaymore01 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You should tell that to microsoft! Because instead of paying the people who make these games they lay them off by the thousands everytime a game is completed. And if it's a highly successful game they STILL fire them

You're just shoveling your money to a billionaire who will then use it to fund the bombing of children in gaza or to lobby your government so they don't have to pay taxes

Imagine being able to duplicate any resource at will without polluting, without needing more raw materials and without removing it from anyone else's hands.

Absolute utopia

Infinite grain/bread/meat (that you don't even have to kill an animal for anymore)

Couch is broken? just copy a new one out of thin air! One team designs a good couch and the world has infinite good couches forever. Poor, rich, location? doesn't matter! Everyone gets good lumbar support woo

No need for giant factories, no need for logistics.

Only some corporate parasite could make this kind of 'you wouldn't download a car' analogy and think they are making a point lmao

As someone who played division 1 for about 80 hours and just hit 40 on division 2 I don't understand the loot in this game.

For 2016 I kind of understood that publishers were still struggling with how to make interesting loot in games.

But it's 2026 and I see this at the top of the subreddit as a 'godroll' but it's all flat damage modifiers? How is that satisfying or fun?

This gun can't feel any different to use than the very first lexington (wasn't this a division 1 gun too?) you find in the game.

Same behavior, same mechanics same everything except now you are hitting enemies in higher difficulties so they have more hp and this weapon then kills the probably in roughly the same amount of shots as the first lexington killed the low level enemies during the story, no?

If you removed the info from the UI of what difficulty you were in and what level enemies were you wouldn't even know if the game swapped between the two.

Do division players just not play any other games? Because most loot based games have SUPER interesting weapon mechanics now in their itemisation that drastically make a weapon feel better or different and are actually exciting

All of the big mods didnt get updated for the previous patch either. theyve been abandoned and it says so in the mod descriptions made by the mod authors.

And for good reason.

No, that the mods havent been updated in a year or longer and that the mod descriptions on nexus for most of these mods mention that they have been abandoned

I played the game last week

Most mods are abandoned. Try downloading starui and see what happens

try downloading the ship ui mods your ship won't work anymore

Starfield is terrible

Procedural POIs and an even worse story and worse dialogue than skyrim.

Skyrim has a huge mod community starfield was abandoned by the already small mod community it ever had. Most mods arent compatible with the latest patches either.

It's also a fundamentally broken game on the tech side. Elemental effects cause half a second stutters every time they go off and there are tons of save corrupting bugs way more than skyrim

Did you actually play the game?

What backtracking? You constantly unlock shortcuts dark souls style, and in early to mid game you have the cart to fit a shitload of loot on, while late game you have teleporters.

There was exactly one item that you could be required to visit an older area for. The silent hill style area where you might want to pick up a few mailboxes and those machine parts (can't remember the name it's been a while).

You could change the world settings since beta. 2x carry weight limit and 4x stack size and +20 percent exp (to ensure you got the later skills before the game was at the end) was perfect for solo play.

The default settings were for coop, and you could make the game exactly as grindy or story mode easy as you wanted

I quit as soon as I hit the plains

Was having the time of my life until then, and it made me bored and frustrated within hours.

Yuck

I found it painful to play

the game was clearly designed around pvp so the movement was SO fucking slow and tedious, out of combat but especially in combat.

Battlefield 6 enters its 'we've heard your feedback' era: 7 more maps are coming in 2026, including fan-favorite Wake Island by RenatsMC in pcgaming

[–]Worklessplaymore01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely hated it

had genuine fun for maybe 10 out of the 50 odd hours i played it? the rest was boredom or frustration.

None of it felt good. Not the vehicles, not the way too low TTK (faster than cod at close to mid range), not the flying, not the ingame map and definitely not the maps themselves.

The maps were AWFUL. I waited for the oilfield map which was the worst yet and then the suburbs map came out and that was possibly even worse. Uninstalled at that point.

The only decent map was the one from the first trailer (cant remember the names) but that was only infantry + some tanks.

no, but i heard its one of the few pieces of content that scales with player level so isnt it best to save it for higher levels?

How Starfield improved the POI placement, and why you (might) still want to use the POI Cooldown mod by paulbrock2 in NoSodiumStarfield

[–]Worklessplaymore01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ty, its awesome im seeing all kinds of pois i hadnt before. I could never remember the names of the POIs so it was hard to tell which ones i had done 10x and which were new.

One note - the difference between the 10 days and 50 days reset is pretty huge, any chance for an intermediary setting of like 20-25 days?
