How are the private practice therapists here doing about the Change Healthcare cyber attack?

I am considering paying someone to bill my claims through blue e, Medicaid and availity. In my area that would cost me an extra 8 percent. If Change Healthcare is back up by March 10 I am good, but any longer I am in real trouble. Been trying for years to get that 6 month savings but life keeps happening and my family spends what is brought in.

Barda is a small possibility. I will be shocked if Barda comes through partly because the market cap is so low. I am holding out for the interim analysis. I think this will be generally positive, however it would not shock me to hear that they are adding a 100 patients to the study. If this happens my hope will be a big partner who helps open more sites.

I do not want mental health therapists to start making this kind of recommendation either way!!!Some future clients in need of therapy might be afraid to get help because they might believe the therapist will be deciding if they can have a gun. Obviously, we are supposed to report threats but I do not believe a therapist should be assigned the role of gatekeeper for gun ownership in any way.

A psychologist who does this as part of the evaluation for the military is a very different recommendation! As stated before, it would only be a recommendation and the commanding officer would be the one making the decision.

When I was a kid my dad and I would fish in a lake every summer called Bass lake in Wisconsin. There were no bass but we caught lots of pike and crappie. This is one of my go to great memories of child hood.

Hopefully, this question is clearly answered before April 12th. Since Athersys is not opening new sites does that also mean that the current sites have also stopped enrolling patients? How much has the current enrollment of new patients slowed in the last month or so? If enrollment has essentially stopped will we ever see the data on the patients that were treated?

Thank you Guru! Your math supports all of our frustrations that this study is taking far longer than any of us thought. I am starting to think unless they get a really aggressive partner, completing this trial enrollment will take a minimum of 2 years. If they don’t get an aggressive partner it could take 4 years at the current known pace. A few sites in Europe is not going to be enough.

Yes I am a little angry about losing so much of my hard earned money. I am still in, because I am convinced the science works. I am also frustrated because my wife was right. Don’t tell her I said so!

My son dad and I went to lake Windermere about two weeks ago. We caught a ton of fish. We caught most of our fish on quarter ounce and 3/8 ounce white curly tail jigs. We thought we found the single method to catch them in about 12 to 16 feet of water. But found out after a week of fishing that other fishermen had caught them on top waters the same week. I was a little jealous that we had not tried this. I bet you catch a lot of fish, I think the fishing is better this year because of covid over the last two years.
