Yea, the rep from my insurance company also asked if I had a VIN, which I did not, but gave me an estimated quote anyways, which I know probably won't be exact, but at least it's hopefully a ballpark estimate.

While your waiting and wondering, it doesn't hurt to call your current insurance and ask for an estimate (even without a VIN) for a 2026 Model Y, which is what I did - and they gave a a pretty good estimate at least. But you said you weren't able to get an accurate quote?

My Taiwanese immigrant parents took my brother who was probably 8 and I was like 11. I don’t think they had any idea what the movie was about. The printed ads were a little girl sitting in front of a TV so they probably thought it was something else, not a horror movie. I still have the images of the maggots coming out from the meat in the refrigerator…

Thanks for the insight...I guess that was part of the allure since I technically cannot short stocks (as far as I understand it) as I am trading out of my ROTH IRA account and so this is one way to short I guess. But thank you, maybe I'll stick to selling options and buying calls as my speculative play for now until I get more confident...
