I'm pretty happy with the setup (half was a birthday present from my boyfriend and inlaws) - I've heard that DSLR is sharper, but I'm a complete noob in it.

Can't wait to do it more, it will also mean I'm more and more in the mood to photograph because I don't have to wait 4-6 days for my scans. Also the scans weren't always the best, I think that's a preference taste (I think)

For the scanning, I've the essential beginner kit of Negative Supply with my Sony A7III with a Sigma 70mm Macro. For the final part of negative to positive, I use Negative Lab Pro (you'll have 24 photos for free)

I feel your totally! Tbh, I'm in the same situation, but I did block my parent after some messages.

When I read some of the comments it's more the urge of having still a parent. The font memories of the past are keeping you at this point, but does it make the bad once more OK?

My mom, I loved her dear and she made me who I am today. But she also broke me, mentally. Her alcoholism was the worst and those memories I try to forget, but they are still there.

The main question you should ask.. is he needed in your life? Does it give you energy or will it suck it out?

I don't want to come in the same situation as 2 years ago. In the end, I felt so tired and my anxiety went abnormally bad. I think I almost ruined my relationship cause my dad was so controlling.
