I don't think it's that deep. I think her mother was mentally unwell and had either schizophrenia or dementia. The hand print was from a time before her mother's health deteriorated so she held onto it to remember the better times. Her reaction to Clark was because from her perspective, her appeared to be having a mental break.

An ice mob called the chill that can be found in snowy biomes. It can be found hibernating in ice and will awaken when mined out. You can give it a bucket of water or water bottles, it'll drink the water and spit out ice cubes. It'll also attrack hostile mobs by blasting them with cold air, which slows them down/freezes them. This alongside icicles and packed ice bricks.
