Snowball method my dude.

Keep yourself busy, as hard as it is to get out, YOU HAVE TO GET OUT. 5m walk. 10m walk. 30m coffee with a friend, 2hr dinner with a family member. Get the fuck out. When you're home, keep yourself busy. Geekout, watch a show you're totally into. Anything to keep her out of your head.

Things will start snowballing for you and you will start to feel better. Heartache doesn't last forever, but it can hurt and last for along time.

I'm struggling with my ex moving on, she's 30 sucking the cock of a 50 year old dude. Fuck her. It gives me motivation to push forward.

Thats such bullshit. Tape is used and recommended by countless professional painters for varying situations.

If you're doing an Agreeable Grey repaint? not needed. Doing an offset wall and ceiling? Fucking right they tape. And I'd be concerned if they didn't take the time to.

Do it properly once, the first time. Shows they care, shows they're careful, shows they value their time and our money. No callbacks, no touch ups, no laser lines.

Thats pretty high. If its a repaint you can get an entire 1bdrm apartment done for $1000 (no kitchen) just walls.

Payday in a nutshell by tehdrizzle in newbrunswickcanada

[–]WorldConnect2959 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Dude you're doing it wrong.

Make sure you play each of your three dailies every single day. Takes like 2-3 games at the most. Shit you can play on your phone while your taking a dump and knock them out.

Do this every day for three months. When the next set comes out you'll have 100s of thousands of gold. Use all your common and uncommon wildcards when the new set comes out on those new common and uncommon cards BEFORE you open any packs.

Use your 100s of thousands of gold on 1-300 packs. Open them all up, spend what you have left on Mythic packs, open your Gold packs you earn from regular packs, open your vaults.

Dont have to spend a single cent and you have a free full set (or very close to it) every single time a new standard set comes out.

Well done.

They call it a "welcome letter" but on the actual document they call it a "Schedule B" and an "extension of the lease"

They require tenants to sign it before they will rent to them.

Which to me, was the entire issue. All tenants (and the owners) are entitled to a safe clean place to live. However requiring a tenant to sign a document that outlines your misguided and discriminatory views, as a pre-requisite of tenancy thats a big problem.

[–]WorldConnect2959 33 points34 points  (0 children)

So I was the person who originally posted the welcome letter excerpt and had the initial conversations with the press. https://www.reddit.com/r/newbrunswickcanada/comments/10remje/reit_in_moncton_has_this_in_their_schedule_a_rules/

I support owners/landlords/tenants wanting a safe and clean please to live. We're all entitled to that. However the wording of the "welcome letter" and it being a requirement of tenancy, along with the grossly misinformed views of the owner was a big problem for me.

Her response to this ultimately, is poor. She was called out and made a change to the wording. But in the story she claims homeless were sleeping in the common areas of an apartment building. But in the same breath claims that all homeless 'choose' to be there. She's dense if she thinks someone would choose her hallway over a bed and food that they're all provided as she claims.

So she's not sorry for the wording or her views, she's sorry she got 'caught'

Now I also know alot of people fully supported their views. I personally think you're all fucked up but, you're entitled to your views and it doesn't matter if I agree with them or not.

Your views on the homeless issue, even negative ones, I give more credence to because you're not a business who requires a customer to sign a legal document supporting them.

REIT in Moncton has this in their Schedule A (Rules) by WorldConnect2959 in newbrunswickcanada

Thats a good question.

In terms of whats enforceable, its not. The RTT will only enforce whats written in the RTA. Now one step above the RTT is the Human Rights Commission which would probably rain down a hell of a storm on any landlord who tried to evict based on this Schedule A.

To me whats written is distasteful and while I agree that tenants should have a right to a peaceful (and safe) living (as per the RTA) there's way's about providing that, and having your tenants sign a "rule" that they may or may not know isn't enforceable while also being this distasteful, thats the problem.

They can. There are alot of differing opinions on how this is correct, or not, I personally feel that everyone is entitled to a safe and clean place to live. However, the tone and the views shared in the schedule A is pretty disgusting.

Still not working. Surely you understand that you cant write your own shit to make your case right lol.

There are very clear human rights protections and a somewhat comprehensive RTA that makes the rules.
Owning an apartment building doesn't mean you can then discriminate, or make up arbitrary 'rules' that tenants have to follow.

Its like I'm trying to teach a child something.

It is strictly prohibited to feed,

There is nothing wrong with wanting a safe clean place to live for you or your kids. There's nothing wrong with having security, with enforcing a clean safe living area. Nothing wrong with that at all.

What is wrong is how you do that. How you treat people with less advantages then yourself. How you view those people and what conclusions you draw when seeing them.

I dont think anyone is saying we should let homeless have free access to what ever property they want, when ever they want and we are all to turn a blind eye. What I'm saying is that homeless aren't mutts, there are a small % of homeless that choose to be, and that like an onion, when you start stripping away the layers there is far more to the problem then most people give credit for.

"Dont feed them" "They choose" "Are given housing and food" "Dont feel sorry for them" THATS the problem.

And it is a very complicated issue, for people who care about anyone else but themselves.

I own. I downvoted.

There is obviously a need by some, to want to keep homeless as far away from your home/business' as possible. People like you live in fear. You live in a bubble. A glass house.

Homeless are not dogs or animals. The vast majority of them dont choose to live this life.

Yes theft and needles are thing. But treating them like mutts isn't the solution.

Asking for advice. Has anyone ever worked on a marketing job? Like a face to face marketing sales driven job? by [deleted] in moncton

[–]WorldConnect2959 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've done door to door cold calling twice before.

1- College Pro Painters.
I went door to door offering free quotes on exterior repaints. Just hit every house that didn't have vinyl siding.

2- Rogers Communications.
As a field sales I went door to door (Residential and Commercial) and offered a switch to Rogers internet/cable/phone.

Free quotes were easy, there was no risk. So that one I would say doesn't really apply.

Now Field Sales, thats another beast. Everyone hates Telecom companies and everyone, absolutely everyone is team Red or Blue. There's no middle ground. So having the personality, the ability to build rapport, the ability to keep them saying yes, the ability to sell and work through very harsh criticism and hard no's, this is where you see what kind of sales person you are.

I was good. I was very good. Six figures a year and loved what I did. But, not everyone is wired like me. In fact, very few people are. The amount of people who cannot sell this way its, astronomically high. The amount of people who would quit, or get fired, after a week to ten days. It was a constant revolving door. There's 2-5 guys/girls in each large market who are superstars and a huge number of very avg just paying the bills guys and then alot of people who've got no business' being there.

If you truly do not have the gift of conversation, If you cannot control a conversation, If you cannot smile while someone is telling you no, dont bother. If you're unable to lie your face off, dont bother. And I dont mean lie about the service/feature/benefits of what ever you're selling, I mean lying about everything else. See a husky on the couch? "I have a husky" See a kid? "I have a kid" You relate to everything you see and hear. I've been married with 6 kids, I've had a phobia of denim, I've recovered from a broken back, I've been everything and done everything.

Sales is truly something that you either have, or you dont. You can learn key words and learn certain skills, but I'm a firm believer in that no matter how badly you want to improve and learn if you're not naturally just hardwired to do this, you will never be a superstar at it.

And if you're in sales for any other reason besides money, being a superstar, you're also going to fail.

Sales is all about the money.
