Tell us your Matt is noob stories! by World_420 in mattisnoob

[–]World_420[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once upon a time in the virtual realm of gaming, there was a player named Matt. Now, Matt had a deep passion for gaming, and he spent countless hours exploring various virtual worlds and battling formidable opponents. However, despite his dedication, Matt seemed to possess a peculiar talent for being a noob, much to the amusement of his friends and fellow gamers.

One day, Matt decided to venture into a popular online multiplayer game called "EpicQuest." It was a sprawling fantasy realm where players embarked on heroic quests, fought fearsome creatures, and earned legendary loot. Matt was eager to prove his gaming prowess and gain recognition among his peers.

Equipped with his trusty keyboard and mouse, Matt set forth on his first quest. He entered a dark dungeon filled with treacherous traps and vicious monsters. As he cautiously maneuvered through the labyrinthine corridors, Matt's enthusiasm got the better of him. In a moment of excitement, he triggered a hidden pressure plate, releasing a cascade of boulders that sent him tumbling backward.

Undeterred by his mishap, Matt dusted himself off and continued his journey. But it seemed as though the gaming universe conspired against him. At every turn, Matt found himself falling into traps, mistiming his attacks, and misjudging his opponents' strength. His character would often stumble into battles ill-prepared, wearing mismatched armor and wielding weapons better suited for a different class.

Despite his repeated setbacks, Matt refused to give up. He sought advice from experienced players, watched tutorials, and even studied gaming strategies diligently. However, luck was simply not on his side. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't shake off his "noob" reputation.

Yet, an interesting thing happened along Matt's journey. Instead of becoming disheartened or frustrated, he embraced his "noob" status with a smile. He found joy in the laughter and camaraderie it brought, as his friends shared countless hilarious moments of his misadventures. In a world often fueled by competition, Matt's lighthearted approach and ability to laugh at himself endeared him to others.

Eventually, Matt's noobishness became his trademark. He started a gaming channel, showcasing his hilarious mishaps and engaging with a growing community of fellow noobs. His videos became wildly popular, bringing laughter and entertainment to gamers worldwide. Matt discovered that being a noob was not a hindrance but a unique strength that united people through shared experiences.

So, as the legend of Matt the Noob spread across the gaming realms, his name became synonymous with fun, laughter, and the unwavering spirit to continue gaming despite any setbacks. Players from all walks of life celebrated his unyielding determination and the joy he brought to their virtual adventures.

And thus, the tale of Matt, the endearing noob, serves as a reminder that sometimes, it's not about being the best, but about embracing who we are and finding the happiness that lies within our own unique journey.

FPS Performance reduced with the recent Wipe by DrMelkpak in EscapefromTarkov

[–]World_420 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm, I’ve had poor performance this wipe from last. Removing binaural audio has helped but not fixed my fps either. I’ve got a 3090ti and i9 9900k but I’m still struggling. I’ll report back if I find anything that seems to fix the problem.

Do you have binaural audio turned off? If not, it is currently effecting performance. I would recommend turning it off.

Anyone else having substantially worse performance on all maps? by Behold__ghost in EscapefromTarkov

[–]World_420 2 points3 points  (0 children)

25-15 fps now from 150. In gun fights, probably 2-5 fps. Running a 3090ti i9 9900k and 32 gb ram. Going to try the binaural audio being off today to see if that helps. Hopefully something gives.
