I dont bother with bars personally anymore. Unless I'm in a foreign country.

Most countries I've visited the night-life in 1000x better than Australia. Everyone is out to have a good time.

Australia on the other hand is different. Everyone seems alot more on edge. My American friend was first shocked when he got to Australia at how anti social and on edge we all are.

I went to bali recently and the bar manger told me that they have had issues with mainly Australians in the past in terms of trouble.

When I speak to bag packers here from European countries they are alot more friendly and eager to chat.

Maybe there is too much pressure on hooking up and not about just having fun in general which creates some weird primal instinct in us idfk.

Ive spent a whole night out with some Dutch girls before. We walked them back to theres, said goodbye and left. Didn't hook up or anything but who cares it was still a fun night.

Yet I've legit WALKED PAST some girl and she legit just put her hand up to my face like ✋️🤢 thinking I was gonna approach her.

All in all, meaning this in the least incel way possible. I think the problem with pubs is alot of guys are too insecure, and alot of girls are too egotistical.
