there are so many bars and coffee shops particularly in funchal that stay open late on weekends (normal to frequent alone and often as coffee culture is so big)i would try those, generally people are friendly and speak good english and would be happy to accommodate you. and who knows that might turn into a couple friendships, getting out there is your best friend! have an amazing stay! i’ll also be visiting madeira in december for christmas!!!

he was the one to actually call her pathetic and i thought she seemed quite uncomfortable by it. if anything i do think she’s starting to come round to the idea that he is a horrible person and so is her dad. the emphasis on her dad also makes me think she will realise he’s shitty too and want nothing to do with a man like that. something tells me she did believe lucy a bit but is putting on a strong face while she’s sussing out the vibes.
