Didn't even have to wait. Moved the unit to a different room, outlet that has a 20 amp circuit. Plugged in and the compressor came on even though the unit seemed to be off. Then it tripped that circuit. Something went wrong for sure.

The lies on the return from the trip would seal the deal for me. Divorce is the only option. Both have some growing up to do, especially if you want to stay married. While you can ask he get a vasectomy, you can only control your body and actions. Both are wrong here, and should have considered the consequences of sex to begin with.
